Yoga for Vertigo

Join me for this gentle session. It is designed to activate and calm the parasympathetic nervous system. Begin this relaxing practice by improving blood circulation and balancing the hemispheres of the brain with breath work, or pranayama.

This 15 minute practice could be beneficial for those who are recovering from injury, TBI (traumatic brain injury), or those who are working with glaucoma.

Be mindful, take it slow, and Find What Feels Good.

Namaste.

  1. Thank you, thank you, thank you! Yoga has become nearly impossible for me due to vertigo, as so many poses and movements start my head spinning. Can’t wait to try the new video.

  2. Good morning! Thank you for another great video. I just wanted to let you know my e-mails on Sundays and from the membership say "Dear User" now, instead of my name. I did update my name on my dashboard on the new membership site, so I don't know what's up. Just wanted to let you know!

    1. We're sorry about that, Natalie. When the membership information merged into the new site, it updated some members' contact names on the email list to "User". I fixed yours.

  3. I’m so grateful for your support in my healing journey. I was unexpectedly brought to tears during this one, thank you for being here to help.

  4. Thank you for this so very much. I sprained both of my ankles a week ago and have been unable to do anything for a week. I need a light practice to just stretch and breathe. I still have pain in my left ankle in shavasana and in my right ankle is the seated position, but could manage in both for a bit. Thank you, Adriene!

  5. Hi Adriene! I always look forward to your videos and emails, and today was no exception. The quote on your email made me well up, and I actually shed tears while reading - you are a great reminder that it’s okay to feel our emotions and fill our cups.
Thank you for being such a positive force of love and light for so many.
    Forever grateful.

  6. Really nice video! Thank you I had Both rotator cuffs torn and repaired a year ago. It is amazing how we can take for granted our ability to balance! I am grateful for your
work out videos that I my abs say “omg is it over yet!” Everyday I choose a challenging video and a soft version that you have and I truly thank you and think your a wonderful person!

  7. For those of us with joint issues who find it hard to get down on the floor but who want to do yoga, do you have recommendations for alternative poses we can do standing or in a chair?

  8. Love this practice! It's so relaxing and good for recovery. Thank you for sharing this.
You can also try Acupressure Mat to heal the body and to absorb all the positive energy every after workout.

  9. Hi Adriene - I completed your Yoga Camp series and am on day 13 of 30 Days of Yoga. I think you're great! Would you be able to send a picture of the books on your bookshelf in those videos? I'm always looking for new spiritual/new age/connecting-to-self-type reading material. Thanks!

  10. I’m sorry this didn’t work for me. Lying on my back is impossible & rolling my head back & forth put me in one of the worst vertigo experiences I’ve had in months.
