Members of the YWA Kula are in on this already - but...
I am happy to finally announce to everyone that the first Find What Feels Good Retreat is on, like donkey kong.
This comes out of a relationship we made with the good folks at Trip Tribe. (No really, they are awesome kind souls.) They asked us if we wanted to experiment doing a retreat. We get A LOT of inquires about doing such a thing. I usually just politely pass. I get weary because I want EVERYONE to be able to do EVERYTHING! And, because I don't really connect to (or like) a lot of yoga retreat set ups.
But the folks at Trip Tribe get me. They let me pick my place - and they were so excited to help us create not just a Yoga With Adriene retreat - but an event that encompasses the mission of Find What Feels Good. There are only 34 spots on this baby and you can hold your spot with a deposit.
Maderas Village - oh my god. An amazing conscious, stylish and diverse community - with their hearts in the right place. They are good hosts and they are letting us take over for a week. It's just the space to bust out our first efforts to have a FWFG "retreat." I think it will be beautiful.
So there you have it.
Free Yoga for life continues.
The membership grows.
The community keeps practicing and talking.
And now there is a retreat in the works.
Seriously, get excited! Or pass. It's ALL GOOD. Stay positive. Open. Grateful. I know we are.
We have so many things coming up. So many different and diverse opportunities to grow the practice, serve others and ENJOY this precious life.
This is beyond AMAZING!!!!! I won't be able to go to this one, but I hope that this is the first of many, many retreats, so that one day when my sweet children are a bit more grown up, I can joyfully attend!
What a blessing you are and what a blessing you extend to all of this!!
I feel like the 34 slots are like tickets to the Chocolate factory. . .I cannot wait to see all the lovely faces who get to enjoy this.
Marcia, you are a doll! Big picture thinking - I love this community! Yes! Thank you my sweet friend! We will see what happens and keep going! Together! <3
I love this "tickets to the Chocolate factory" metaphore! Soooo true. I wish I could get my golden ticket one day.
I feel so excited already for you and those lucky people who will get to experience the retreat!!
I feel really sad that I won't be able to do the retreat ( a) because I will be right smack in the middle of mid- year 12 exams, and b) actually there's a chance I will never get to meet you in person as I live in Australia), however I am taking comfort in the fact that your kind, loving soul will continue to reach out to me and others.
Bella xx 🙂
This is so exciting and I hope you have an amazing time!! Unfortunately I won't be able to come because I love out in England, but one day I will.
Keep on happy dreaming!!
This sounds amazing Adriene 🙂 I'm wishing you all the best in getting it together.
Love and Light xx
OH my gosh I wish I could go.
I don't have the finances now, but if ever I do, this is happening for me.
Can't wait to hear all about it, and I can't wait to see who gets to do this amazing thing together!
The pieces of the puzzle are all falling into place ... to build a beautiful picture of generous sharing.
June is not doable for me but right now I feel like a summer trip from Poland to US (especially to meet Kula members! 🙂 is not so difficult to manage.
Wish you all the best, have fun with those 34 lucky ones!
Oh, and maybe take some sunny inyasa for us, who can not be there 😉
What a great experience! Unfortunately, I'm in college so I don't have the money for this. But one day! I hope this becomes an annual event <3
Dependent on your major and financial aid you MAY be able get academic credit for an experience like this! And check out http://www.studyabroadfunding.org/ to see if you are eligible for any scholarships for this cultural and personal experience. I don't work for the website I recommended, I just thought I would let you know about it because I work for a University and sometimes students don't have any idea how much funding is out there for them.
Adrienne! This looks amazing and such a wonderful opportunity. I am a study abroad advisor and I can't help but think of ways to make this even better and greater and awesomener! Yes, I just made that word up And I can't help but imagine what something like this could do for my mind, body, and soul. Unfortunately I am not in a great place to go abroad. But I wanted to let you know of this amazing place in my community that you could do a domestic retreat. http://www.rrresorts.com/dahlonega/calendar/. Hope you make it to this beautiful part of the Appalachians! Thank you for introducing me to the 'feel good' of yoga. Happy thanksgiving!
While You, Adriene, along with your video series (30days, Empower, Reboot, and now I am searching my computer for Rise (I paid for it early, but I can't find what the computer did with it!) brought yoga back in my life after a 10 year hiatus due to serious vertigo and migraine problems. I always wanted to be connected to the Kula, but I do not have FB for many reasons....
I could have come to your east side LA classes, but did not know where they were. So a retreat. I have the resources and time but I do not know anything about it. I want to know when it is and if you are taking deposits and it makes sense for me after reading the fine print, how do I do that. Many times I have written you on the DL but I never get a response, so I will try it this way. I would love a community (I recently moved to LA from Boulder Co after 30 years there. I need a community!!!! your letters and thoughts are so warm, to do something in person with someone who has been my teacher but who is still so young in many ways (I have kids your age) I think we could both benefit from the relationship. It is just how to connect. Please tell me how to find out the retreat info before it is too late...hope to hear soon Kate
I am so happy for you and the wonderful people who are going to be able to attend! Sadly I can't, as I'm much too young (I'm only 16!) to make my way to Texas, much less Maderas Village, and to pay my own way but hopefully your YWA retreats will last until I'm old and lucky enough to enjoy one.
P.S. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
Adriene, thank you for being <3.
I found what feels good when i stumbled across your youtube channel and followed your 30 days of yoga....your sense of humor & beautiful lightness is the reason I got hooked and now i practice yoga everyday! Best Of Luck for the retreat! Wish I could make it but coming all the way from India doesn't seem possible right now! Someday..someday! Lots of love xoxoxo
I am so exited about this!!! Me and my boyfriend are surfers and would love to join! Just need to check our calendar first!!! Wow... Kisses from lebanon
If I ever decided to attend a yoga retreat that would definitively be with you, my one and only yoga teacher for more than two years now.
If you ever decide to make it to south of France one day I promise I'd do anything to join whatever you choose to do there !
Love and deep gratitude,
OMG Adrienne, I got do excited to hear you were hosting a retreat. The price seemed right, unfortunately the dates don't work ;(. Heavy heart can't wait to hear how it goes. Looking forward to your second retreat. Be well, be happy, Peace . ~
So excited ! But it's half way around the globe for me to reach. Hope u all have a great time! Sending u lots n lots of love n warmth from India 🙂 🙂
Your retreat is exactly what my daughter and I have been looking for. We did a retreat in Costa Rica last year and wanted to make it a yearly mother/ daughter event. Unfortunately I am a teacher and that is the last week of school for me. A big deal as I will be retiring after 36 years of teacher special education. Hopefully you will do more as we would definitely attend.
I thank you for giving us the opportunity to spend some time with you, practicing with you and enjoying the beauty of the retreat. Money is holding me back but I hope everyone who does go has the best time. Hope to get on board with the next adventure that you come up with. Thank you for everything. Xoxo jenny
That sounds amazing. We hope that you will have a retreat in Europe og closer to Denmark at some point 🙂 I promose to come if you do so.
Best wishes Vinni
Thanks for sharing such a useful information with all. Great trip to tribe.
Unfortunately, I'll never get the chance to meet you. I'm belgian and I currently live in india.
But this is just to let u know that you've created a very big family all over the world.
Thank u so much
I love this! I am a huge fan and love to travel. Only issue for me is the dates. Will you be doing more of these? Best time for me is Jan-April because of work schedule. Thank you for being awesome!
Hi Adrienne 😀
After 16 day's of yoga camp I don't wanna do anything else but YOGA all day!
This last to weeks made a change in my body en mind, after allready 2 years of yoga class in my home town.
The vibration and your smile just makes me realise that I have to do what feels good, that I can make the change in my life. And from this yoga camp on I'm gonna rock my life, yeah!
Unfortunately this yoga retreat is way to far for me.
I live in Holland and I was hoping that you would organize some yoga retreats in Europe.
But hey, I just invite you every day trough the youyube chanel in my living room haha 😉
Thank you so mutch en keep up the lovely work 🙂
Yes! I would love to come to one of your retreats in Europe - pleeeeeease!!!
Adreine you have opened me up to a whole new world I have been doing everyday with you for over 9 months now and I know many people like myself would absolutely love for you to come to the UK. Although my hopes are it won't be long before your next retreat it would mean so much to meet you.
Hey Adriene, do you plan on doing a retreat like this again, this coming year?
I would love to know if there is going to be a 2017 retreat! 🙂
I have been a YWA follower (addict!) for 2 years now. Im so grateful for YWA and feel like it's changed my life and yoga practice immensely! I can't come in person to classes as I live in Vancouver Canada, but would love to attend a retreat. Is there one planned for 2017? If so wheres the info? Would be amazing to practice in oerson!

Hi Desie. Try this link:
Will you be doing another retreat this year ? I would love to attend.
Love your yoga. Got my daughter into YWA. We are now planning to come visit your retreat next year. She lives in Australia and me in New Zealand . Love to meet you. Your yoga has changed our lives. Such an inspiration . With much love Adrienne and Gemma ❤️
Hello! Thank you for practicing with Adriene! She would be honored to meet you both. 🙂 Keep an eye on the Events page as it gets closer to the time to plan your trip. That page is where you can get the most up to date information about Events and Classes Adriene is teaching.
Thanks Heaps xx
Hi there! I am so grateful for these practices and I have been a big blabbermouth all over social media to share YWA! What a wonderful gift this is! May I ask, is there going to be a retreat in 2019? I saw something that look like there is, but when I followed the link it was a dead end… Does that mean the retreat is sold out? Thanks for letting me know! Namaste!
Are these going to come back?
Any retreat coming soon? I'd love to!
