  4. Good Day Adriene, I follow you on YouTube and have been practicing from your videos for two weeks now. I hate working out, never do, but now I can't wait to get home to practice. I have a very long way to go, because my muscles are tight.
    Anyway, I would like to know what style of yoga you practice so I can buy some books and learn as much as possible so I can learn the terms, purpose and benefits!

  5. Adrienne- I don't know where to begin!! You have guided me through the darkest time of my life. I can't possibly express the gratitude and love I have for you!! I'm 46 years old and have worked out consistently for the past 30+ years. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in Oct. 2014 and had a double mastectomy in December. My pectoral muscles were cut and I was informed I would never regain the strength I once had. I found your channel prior to my diagnosis and loved your positive energy!! When I was allowed to begin to exercise again, you had just begun "30 days of yoga." Every day I waited for your next video- I love them all!! I'm not as strong as I was, but I do believe there is no coincidence in life. You have led me to a place that I'm not sure I would have found on my own. I try to do a yoga class every day now-I am so grateful for you and what you have shared with me.   8. Hello! I was wondering if there are any sequences for good posture? I'd like to correct my rounded shoulders and I wasn't sure if there are specific poses for that or if all yoga helps. Thanks and I love your videos!

    1. I too would like some info and asanas to help with posture. Right now I am at my computer (surprise... this comment did not just transfer from my brain to your website..) and I am trying to circle my shoulders around and down to try and relieve the tightness. I love all of your videos! You have changed my life in so many ways! Thank you!

    I came across your videos a while ago after trying yoga on and off for many years. i have always worked out every day (sometimes three times a day!!) but due to a change of job i found myself struggling and also leading a very stressed lifestyle. I decided to try yoga again but did not want to back to a class full of complete pro's. I am also a student of naturopathic medicine (year two) and found myself needing to slow down I am not getting up every morning and doing one of your classes before work and sometimes in the evening. i love the way you mix up the classes so i am not stuck doing a complete beginners class every time. I am now in love with yoga and hopefully can join a class soon!! Nicola (London)

  19. Hi, I have done the two first of your "30 days of yoga" videos and so far I am loving it. However I have two questions;
    1. Since I am such a newbie when it comes to yoga, could I do this Weight loss practice or is it too complicated for me?
    2. It is bad/not as effective to do more than one of your yoga videos a day? When I get into it I just want to continue even after the video is finished, could I do like the next video in the "30 days challange" or should I stick to doing one each day?

  20. I LOVED this practice! After completing the video I feel completely stretched, stronger, focused, calm and stress free -- exactly what I want from yoga. I've been thinking about trying one of your online classes but am unsure of which to choose. My goals are to develop strength and flexibility, as well as improve my balance. I really enjoy your vinyasa, detox, and power yoga videos. What would you recommend? Thank you for doing what you do!

  22. On Wednesday a friend told me about your YouTube videos and listed the names of several of them including Yoge for a Broken Heart and 30 days of yoga. I didn't realize until the moment she said "yoga for a broken heart" that I actually had a broken heart, but as soon as she said it, I thought, "I need that." The reason I didn't realize it is that it was a platonic friendship that broke my heart.

    Anyway, I did the lesson that night and honestly feel like a different, healed person! I still have little pangs of pain here and there, but not the heavy, deep sadness I had prior to the lesson. It actually feels like a miracle to me! The thing that amazed me about the lesson is that instead of covering up my wounded heart which was my instinct, Adriene had me thrust my heart forward out into the world and it worked! I will be forever grateful Adriene, and have been telling everyone.

    But that's not all! I decided the next morning to start 30 days of yoga and am now on day four. People have noticed! Thursday night I was having cramps so I looked to see if Adriene had a video for that and she does, it was sooooo restorative!! Thanks you, thank you thank you Adriene!

  25. It was my first day for "yoga for weight loss" videos and I think I was pretty good! I've done the first 40 mins but thats a start! I also agree with the Annelie's comment. Thank you for your detailed free videos, they are inspiring and supportive:) Namaste.
