"Reclaiming Your Center" At Home Yoga Retreat

Welcome to the “Reclaiming Your Center” At Home Retreat!

We are so excited that we can share this retreat time together with all of you around the world!

Next Friday we kick off the second annual At Home Yoga with Adriene Yoga Retreat! This weekend at home retreat coincides with the retreat Adriene is leading next weekend hosted by 1440 Multiversity. Adriene will be leading a 3-day weekend retreat on July 20-22, 2018. Some of the YWA community will be attending this exciting event, but not everyone can go. So in true YWA form, we are leaving no one behind. We created for you a free at home yoga retreat for everyone to participate in!

The At Home Yoga Retreat is an opportunity for ALL of us to connect and share this experience together, as one from all around the world. And the At Home Yoga Retreat is completely FREE!

All the practices for this at home yoga retreat are on the YouTube channel. You can get your playlist for the weekend retreat here.

Here is what you can expect:

  • Free yoga and meditation with YWA videos available on the YouTube channel
  • Journal prompts for each day
  • Community activity that ties into each day's focus

How to get the most out of it:

This is an opportunity to share this at home retreat experience with friends from around the world. A valuable part of any retreat is the personal connections that are made as participants share with one another what they are learning or how they are growing through the experience.

  • Be active in the community. One of the best parts about the "Reclaiming Your Center" At Home Retreat is that it is a community experience. Share your thoughts and ideas, and let us know what you are learning as you make your way through the 3 days.
  • Engage with your peers. Reach out and connect. Follow the hashtag #ywahomeretreat. Cheer each other on.
  • Share and ask questions. Share your pictures and stories. Share any questions you have along the way. We're in this together.

Who is invited?

YOU are invited! No matter where you are, you can connect & participate in the retreat. It starts July 20 and runs through the 22nd. (Can’t join us next weekend? Save this image and do it another weekend.)

Mark your calendar, save this schedule, and invite some friends to join you.

We’ll meet up on our mats next Friday as we come together to reclaim our centers!

    1. Thank you for all of your videos, I always feel better after doing yoga with you.

  1. Wow. Wow. Wow. I am so hoping I can follow along. I'm not 100% sure I understand where to be and how to participate but I'd love to give it a go. I LOVE your yoga practices.

    1. Hi Arlene, save this photo of the schedule, follow along, and practice with the community around the world from your home. All the practices are on the YWA YouTube channel already. If you would like to, share your experiences with the at home retreat on social media with others by using the hashtag, #ywahomeretreat. Share your experience and cheer others on as well. Whether you share online or not, know that many others are doing the same thing with you in spirit all around the world. 🙂

      1. I am so excited! I have been keeping track of my consecutive days of FWFG practices with Adrene and am coming up on my 1000th day. I was hoping to find memorable way to celebrate making it to this milestone. Saturday, the 21st will be that day and I will look forward to being in the company of so many others who are benefiting from a home practice.

  2. Yas! I am so happy with this! It's like a birthday present in honor of how I used to celebrate my birthday (three days :P). I don't celebrate it any more and people tend to forget. So namaste Adriene, this will be a great start into my next lifeyear next friday. 🙂 ♡

  3. I'm going to do it!
Love the way Adriene invites everybody to participate around the world.
How she shares her passion is an inspiration!
I'm so grateful that I've permited myself to continue this journey of exploring through yoga with Adriene what feels good 🙂

  4. Is this something I can start on a week when I am working? I am taking a week off in August and wondering if I should delay it for that time.

    1. Hi Isabel, you can juggle this at home retreat with your work schedule if you have about an hour and a half you can set aside in your day for the yoga, meditation, and activities for each day. The Friday morning practice is only a 7 min one to help accommodate the majority of people who will be working Friday. Feel free to save it (or repeat it) in August when you have off. 🙂

  5. Next weekend wonderdful. Thank you Adrian for giving me his 2 1/2 hours of pain free from my migraine headache. He suffer from chronic migraines which apparently are the worst that you can get. I came across your video this morning on YouTube and I guess it was by chance but I’d like to think of it by law of attraction or on purpose because it led me to you. Also it was exactly I was looking for. I do believe in divine encounters. I previewed your videos this morning I decided to save it for tonight when I was waiting to take my last dose of pain meds for the day. I am very excited to see what tomorrow is video on YouTube holds. I live in New York and I do not know the time difference right now between Austin and New York I don’t know if it’s two hour difference or a one hour but I feel like it’s probably a two hour delay. Which would make me two hours ahead so that’s fantastic. I loved your idea of towel or bandanna that has essential oil on it I jumped a few dropped of lavender on to my towel and onto my pillow during the beginning of practice and add to the towel towards the end of practice. I’m curious to know which Mr. you used during practice. I know that you do not get any commission so sorry to ask you but I will purchase the one that you used because it seem to be like a good mixture of lavender and peppermint or spearmint? I do have a difference used to have but it was making my cat sick with the lavender oil. So I’ve used just two drops in it and it does not give the same effect.
Thank you and Namaste - . I honor the light, love, truth, beauty and peace within you, because it is also within in me.

    1. Ellen,
I used to have severe migrane pain in the past. Acupunture was the solution. Please give it a try. Then, with yoga and meditation I said goodbye forever to my migrane nightmare!! 😉

  6. Lovely - it will be my birthday too the following week so a lovely way to celebrate it!

  9. Oh my God! Is this for real? I have wanted to participate in a yoga retreat for such a long time and now this! Thanks so much, Adriene and team! From the bottom of my core!

  10. Adriene, your spirit centered in Abundance and Love continues to inspire me.

So grateful that you walk this earth.

You. Yoga. Practice. It's what feels good!

    In peace,

  11. Lovely idea although I might modify the “get up with the sun” on Saturday since in our lovely long days, the sun rises at bit earlier than in California, at 5 a.m. 🙂

  12. Thank you for sharing with us. I’ve just discovered you and your wonderful videos. Can’t wait to join in with the fun and spending some me time on the mat during a very busy weekend! See everyone there!

  13. Thanks for doing this. I was scheduled to come to the 1440 retreat, but gave up my spot after finding out I was pregnant. It was definitely the right choice for me (too sick to enjoy it right now), but I’ve been feeling sad that I won’t be there. I’ll be following along from home and hope to join you for another retreat in the future!

    1. Hopefully another time will work for you to attend a retreat with Adriene, Julie. 🙂 Congratulations and wishing you a healthy pregnancy and delivery!

  14. This is so exciting! I can’t wait! I hope there’s a post-retreat tee or tank coming our way! See you all on the mat from the Midwest! ☮️❤️

  15. I am 4 months in to my yoga practice...everyday i notice how i am evolving....living it...loving it...
I will follow next weekend for sure!!

  16. This retreat is happening exactly when I need it! Thank you for sharing with those of us that can't be there physically.

  17. This sounds like a great time!!! I'm currently working on getting back into the swing of things and this will go a long way to help me get recentered and on with my journey. Thanks to Adriene for sharing it with everyone!!

  18. Thank you for your generosity. Really wanted to go ...now I can be a part of it, remotely. Loving my journey

  19. This is going to be awesome! I have a question. I'm still familiarizing with the YWA vocabulary,
so I want to know what "journal prompt" means (besides English is not my first language 😉 )
    Have a nice Sunday!

    1. Hi Lorena, a journal prompt is a word that you can use for that day to think about and spend a little time (or a lot of time, your choice) writing about whatever that word means to you or whatever thinking about that word brings up. It can also serve as a mantra or focus for that day. I hope this helps explain it. 🙂

  20. I'm so glad I opened today's email as I feel I've been lost for a while so this, this will be my reawakening, to make myself whole again. Thank you Adriene.

  21. Thank you, Adriene. You are so generous and thoughtful. Looking forward to participating!

  22. Thank you, Adrienne! I was really hoping to join the retreat and so I truly appreciate this opportunity to be part of it!

  23. Thank you so much Adriene for being so thoughtful!!! I only have a question. What time is everything starting?

    1. Violeta, there are suggested times of AM (morning) and PM (afternoon or evening), but you are free to make it your own. Pick times that work for your life and schedule. All the videos are already on the YouTube channel. Know that whenever you participate, there are many others practicing with you around the world. 🙂

      1. I thought the retreat was going to be streamed, live from Austin. But they are already available on youtube, right? Starting on Friday in the morning to feel the connection!!!!

  24. Hi There - thank you so very much Adrienne and Crew! I was trying to get to the 1440 event in LA, but as I'm in New Zealand that was proving a bit tricky - I had even put it in my calendar. So when this was posted, just as you say, I can now feel like I'm "kind of" there! A beautiful thought and gift. So thanks for always thinking of everyone Adrienne (hope Benji will be OK while you're away). I'll look forward to virtually connecting with everyone over the weekend. Namaste.

  25. Are there any more instructions for the journal prompts? Like how many pages to write or how long to journal for.

    Excited to try this 🙂

    1. Talia, the journal prompt is an invitation to consider that word for the day. You could use it as a focus or mantra for the day. You might want to journal about the first thing that the word brings to your mind. Or maybe you want to spend some time thinking on it and write about what it brings up. It is personal and unique to each person. Write as little or as much as you want to. Make it your own. 🙂

  26. Excellent. This is happening at exactly the right moment for me. Looking forward to joining in, virtually!

  27. Well I'll be starting this in a minute. Being in Australia I guess I'm a bit in front of everyone else. Hope that won't matter?

  28. Adriene, you are an angel! Thank you for your time, energy and commitment to yoga and for coming up with such wonderful ideas and sharing them with the world. Yours in love, joy and mischief and, of course, yummy yoga xXx

  29. I'm on day three here in Australia. I can't seem to find the new Finding Your Center video. Is it the same as the one called Center from the True challenge?

    1. Hi Rachel, the "Finding Your Center" video is the new video coming out Sunday at 1:00 AM Pacific Time. It will be up in a few hours and added to the at-home retreat playlist then too. 🙂

        1. Hi Carolyn, all the videos for the At-Home retreat are already available on the YWA YouTube channel. Did you see the link directly to the playlist in the article above? You can also find it under the playlist section on the channel. Or just search the channel (or membership) for the videos for each day. I hope that helps! 🙂

  30. Thank you so much for this retreat, Adriene! This was so fulfilling and helped me rediscover my confidence in yoga and coming to the mat as I am. No matter what. Thank you!

  31. This is the third time I’ve done this lovely weekend of self-care and healing. I couldn’t find it on the FWFG app so had to build my own playlist - which is fine but a shame if others miss it.
Also, if you ever feel like doing another weekend-length retreat, I would be grateful for that too!
Thank you so much for all you do and bringing your light and yoga to our living rooms (or gardens).
