  1. Hi Adriene,

Thanks for the prenatal yoga video! This was amazingly perfect timing, and much appreciated. I was just wondering if there are any particular poses that should not be done during pregnancy? I am still in my first trimester, but have cut out other cardio exercise due to nausea, so was hoping to continue with a more active practice on my good days. Thanks in advance for the suggestions!

  2. Dear Adriene,

I like your videos a lot, i am practicing yoga daily now! Is there also a video that can help when your trying to get pregnant?

    Thanks for your positivity!

    Greetings from Holland,
    Danielle

    1. I'm with Danielle on this one,

I saw a fertility yoga class at my centre. I don't know if it works, but if it does, I will certainly try it ๐Ÿ˜‰

  3. Hi Adriene, I've been doing your videos for a couple of months now in a bid to improve my chance of conceiving. I have PCOS and have read that yoga can help circulation in the pelvic area. Could be please consider doing a video series specifically for improving fertility? It would be hugely appreciated.
Thanks - I love your videos! Abby x

  4. Hi Adriene,

My wife has just had a baby and I am doing a lot of cradling and carrying to give mum a rest. This is wonderful but as a result I am getting a lot of shoulder, neck and upper back pain due to being in a protective baby-to-chest hugging position. Can you recommend a yoga session that targets these areas? These are problem areas for me anyway and are not helped by cycling and desk work. At the moment I'm practicing drunk cat/cow a lot!

Thanks for all the great videos.

    1. Hi Harry,

I saw your post, and have shared in the nasty upper-back and shoulder-area pain conundrum, so I wanted to tell you about a couple of Adriene's videos that have helped me relax and relieve pain in that area.

There are three sequences (that will offer further suggestions on YouTube) that I have found very helpful. The Yoga for Relaxation, Yoga for Stress Relief, and Bedtime Yoga sequences. All of these are wonderful, restorative yoga sequences, and after going through them I feel rejuvenated, relaxed, and my scholar-hunch has been counteracted.

Enjoy them, and your new baby!
      Peace and love,
      Bea

  5. I've been a follower of your youtube channel for the past 5 months and I love how your methods have strengthened me and improved my yoga technique! However, now that I'm pregnant I'm a little disappointed you only have 1 prenatal video- any chance you'll be uploading more soon? I would LOVE it! ๐Ÿ™‚

  6. Hi Adriene!

Thank you for your AMAZING, positive, and uplifting yoga videos. I am a mother of two, and try to do your videos during nap time any chance I can get. I hope to continue to practice yoga next time I am pregnant and would love to see some more prenatal videos.

    Thank you again:)

  7. Hi Adriene!

thanks for this good practice! It was really relaxing :). I am trying to find the other prenatal yoga videos that you talk about in one of your videos. One for each trimester.. where do I find these?

    Thanks!

    Best wishes,
    kristina

  8. Hi Adriene! Sorry if this isn't a great place for this comment, but I can't seem to find a better one, so here it is. I just purchased your 6-part prenatal yoga series for my second pregnancy, and I'm super excited to start! I was just reading through the accompanying PDF, and I noticed that under the list of recommended books, you included "On Becoming Babywise." I have to admit that I'm SUPER shocked by this! Not be an alarmist, but this book is scarily terrible and doesn't belong alongside any Gaskin or Simkin titles. It's unscientific, and using its methods is linked with infant failure to thrive, poor breastfeeding outcomes, etc. In my opinion a lot of what it recommends would be abusive to an infant. Here's a link to an article on some of these issues:

Anyway, it's very possible that I'm missing something, so forgive me if that's the case, but I just wanted you to be aware of these issues on the off-chance that you had no idea. Thanks!

      1. HI there! I think it's great that you have recognized some things that don't work and don't feel good to you. I have used the ideas from "On Becoming Babywise" with both of my children and using what feels good to me from the book, our first year together was very successful. One went from a premie to thriving in a short amount of time and years later is the most amazing kid ๐Ÿ™‚ The other went from LGA to healthy and happy with no health concerns. Cheers to finding what feels good for each mamma and baby ๐Ÿ™‚

  9. Hi Adriene,
I have been following your videos and recommending you to friends for the last 5 months - I was going through IVF and the yoga really helped me to prepare and calm down. I am now 3 months pregnant and love the 5 Poses tuition with Hila but can't find any more from you on Prenatal yoga which I would love to do.

You are gently inspiring. Thank you for your warmth and generosity.

  10. Hi Adriene!

I have been doing yoga alongside your videos every day for the past 2 years and am now pregnant. Loved this video! In the end of the video you are talking about a video with modified sun salutation, so I've been looking for it but can't find it. Is it on YouTube, and if so: what is the name of it?

    Namaste!

  11. Hi Adriene,

Being in my 3rd trimester of pregnancy, I appreciated a lot this video ๐Ÿ™‚ just like Hilah, I was lately very challenged with your "normal" yoga videos and poses because of my belly ๐Ÿ˜‰
Where can I find more of this and tips for birth as you mentioned at the end of the video ?

    Thank you and cheers
    Yasmine

  12. Hey! Where can I find the other prenatal videos? I have always enjoyed your yoga videos.

  13. I have been practicing yoga alongside your videos for years and can't thank you enough for all of them as they are a good resource during the busy holiday season or a snowstorm situation when I can't make it to a live yoga class. Right now I am super pregnant and somewhat limited in what poses I can do. I would love another prenatal video or two to follow along with. In the '5 poses' video you mention a prenatal yoga series, but I'm unable to find it anywhere. Is there something I'm missing? My aching back and I would be ever so grateful for a solution!

  14. Hi Adriene, thank you for the great video! You reference several other videos that you were planning to make as a sort of series for mommas, do those exist yet? I'd love more!

  15. Thank Las for these amazing postures! Have you done more pre-natal videos? Thank you and cheers from Cambridge, MA!
