    Thanks Adriene!
I really admire your courses .. i’m Following now quite regularly for almost two years
And it has become likely my regular routine.
I have learnt a lot, to pay more attention to my body’s reactions my emotions and feelings!
I’m long time trained gym addicted , lifting weights for more then 30 years made my body quite strong even thought I’m 60 now but I definitely needed more awareness in the movements and I have gained much more flexibility
    In other words YOGA!!
I love to see you posing on the screen, love your jokes love Benji.
please keep doing this .. great work !!!
All the best for the year 2019
    Namaste

I am so excited to start this 30 day journey. I did the 31 day Revolution and learned quite a bit and with all good intentions I was going to do True but time seemed to slip by me this year. I have decided to focus on slowing down this year and really enjoying every day and moment I have here on this earth. Thank you for providing these journeys. You are uplifting and give off great energy! Thank you again.

I’m ready! I started last year with true and have been practicing with you for a year now! This is the longest I have ever stuck with any exercise routine in my life, by about 11 months. I love yoga with Adrien, and it has changed my life. I’m 56 and feel so much better. My hips started working properly after just a few days, I’m stronger now, and my shoulder are quite a bit better but they take a long time to open I guess so I’m still working on them. I’m really looking forward to dedicate! Thank You Adrien!

Hi I have been following you since I did the 2015 30 days of yoga on youtube aboute 2 years ago. I felt so empowered after doing yoga. The last year has been with many ups and downs for me, so this time around I know the 30 days of yoga is going to make me realign with myself once more and get back in balance. Thank you so much Adriene for doing this all for free for us. Namaste

    Hi everyone
Discovered your original 30 Day programme in the Autumn, Adriene, after a very long coastal walk in the SW of the UK left me with plantar fasciitis (now healed thankfully) and restricted in what I could do. I’ve never done yoga before but have loved the practice. Thank you for the very engaging way you guide us and for all the encouragement.

I’d like to wish everyone a wonderful 2019 and I cant wait to get started on Dedicate.

2018 was a big year for me. I was an avid runner but in the spring of last year I realized that running was hurting me. The pain in my hip joints was so bad that sitting and even standing caused pain. I knew I had to take a hiatus from running and that’s when I stumbled on you, Adriene. I started with 30 Days and then from there, I completed Yoga Camp, Revolution, and True–all in 2018. I am so excited for Dedicate and to continue this journey with you! Thank you for making my body not feel so much like a prison. Namaste!

I am so excited for this challenge. I have followed you for the last 3 years and your videos always motivate me to hang on and keep going, eventhough it’s really hard to squeeze in a practice sometimes. And I really feel getting stronger and the poses becoming easier every single time I try. Since I am on the road a lot and don’t have regular internet connection I would really love to have a downloadable version – as the years before- so I can always practice and also support you somehow. Keep going and making people’s days so much happier, healthier and more mindful. Namaste!

Thank you so much for your calm, down to earth teaching style. I have been struggling with PTSD, depression, anxiety and an eating disorder for years. During my last treatment stay for a suicide attempt, I loved the mindfulness practices and yoga. I find it hard to find a reason to push play when I am at home alone, and usually end up distracted in the past in my mind. Your calm voice had me in tears every time you brought my mind back to the present, so thank you. I look forward to doing this journey the next 30 days.

This year you seem much more spiritual and self-aware, which has called me in. Love the quotes, your wise words, the intention and focus each day. And then Bob Dylan too! I just started Dedicate and really admire the emphasis on breathing and being aware. which I hadn’t really done in a long time. Since beginning Dedicate, I’m more aware of my breathing and my body wherever I am, not just while doing yoga. I’m a fan for life.

I am 56 years old and easily 56 pounds overweight. I know the value of exercise, but have always felt like a failure at it. Adriene, I must tell you how much I am loving this Dedicate journey with you! Often when it ends, I want to keep going (not an experience I have EVER had with any other form of exercise!) I feel so at peace and relaxed. You make it so that I don’t feel shamed because I’m stiff or my belly gets in the way of certain movements, you just say to do what I can and I feel valued and accepted as I am. In just these few days, I feel more flexible and my balance is improving. The biggest gain, however, is how I feel about myself! I cannot thank you enough!

I just wanted to say thanks, as always, for making the amazing, inspiring content for us all that you do.

And I am typically emotionally impacted by your daily messages. Happy, sad, uplifted, etc. But always impacted. I just read the new year’s mail that went out today, and kept it together right up until “Breathe like you love yourself.”

    Hey Adriene!

I’ve been following your channel for about 2 years now, and I love it! Yoga has definitely been a big part of my life and I hope to keep growing with it.
On that note, I have recently developed a ganglion cyst on my wrist. Meaning, anything involving my wrists has become incredibly difficult and painful (and will continue to be so for a while until I have it removed and through recovery). Do you have any advice for how to deal with this?
I’ve found myself having to stop practice and go into Child’s Pose to recover often, and wear a wrist brace after practice. Any advice is welcomed! Thanks so much for everything you do!

There are times when things happen as if they are planned by a higher power. I am in transition after a four year quite complicated relation. I was mentally prepared for a new start. But my local beloved yoga guide has moved away, so here I was on the small island of Åland, just between Finland and Sweden, with a longing heart. And – from nowhere – your Dedicate 30 days was shown in my FB feed. I have not heard of you earlier.
And it was just crystal clear for me to join. I can take the time, I have the desire and the focus for a new start, I am prepared for deepening my inner self and listening to my heart.
So – thank you! It has partly been a challenge for me so far, as I have mostly done yin yoga and restorative yoga. But I feel my body and soul smiling every time I sit down and open the link.
I look forward to the challenges and I am so glad I can participate.
    THANK YOU!

    Good morning!!
I would like to begin by saying how much I enjoy doing Yoga with you. I have turned many friends on to your channel. My daughter and son, Izabella 12 years old and Jaxson 10 years old, are also big fans.
I recently had a hysterectomy and bladder repair surgery. The recovery period is long (due to the bladder repair) but I have been cleared for light stretching and can resume some yoga in two weeks! What would be some safe, gentle poses that do not stress the lower and upper abdominal muscles? Do you have an existing routine available on your channel?
Thank you for all you do,
    Peace,
    Amy

First of all, I have been doing Yoga and Pilates for a few years as a supplement to my dancing, but I often felt unsatisfied by Yoga, so I mainly stuck to pilates. This past year (2018), I was looking for online videos to exercise to in order to keep up my strength and condition. I am so glad I found your videos and have been consistently doing at least one video just about everyday. Thank you for continuing to provide your guidance in 2019. Your work has really strengthened my respect for Yoga and it has transformed my dancing more than any other cross training I have done.

With that said, I was hoping you could do a video that focused on strengthening the feet, hip flexor, and calves as these are really important muscles for dancers (and others), but I also feel that calves and feet strength are ignored in a lot of exercises and practices. I hope this gives you some inspiration for a new video!

    Hello Adriene,
First my husband and I would like to thank you! I am 60 and my husband in 64 and both in pretty good shape. However we started feeling a bit off balance with some aches, pains, and stiffness..the usual or so we thought. We decided in March 2018 that we would begin your daily yoga practice just for 30 days and see how we felt. Thirty days turned into 60, then 90 and has continued to the present day!
You make us both feel extremely comfortable with where we are and the options we have with the poses and your encouraged challenges to do our best. It is our daily meditation as well.
We feel much more flexible, centered and certainly much stronger. You are right. With practice you will be able to do things that you were unable to do previously.
Thank you for all of your hard work making this available around the world.
    God Bless You,
    Lisa and Steve

I’ve been able to stay day for day for my first YWA series, certainly not without challenges, especially yesterday. I was really wobbly! Everyone has an incredible story and i’m inspired by many of the ones I read. I never thought I would be able to accomplish what I have. I’m one of the millions with chronic arthritis in most of my joints and was struggling to move and feel good at 58 years young. Can I just say that is in my past. I feel like a new person each day. If you have any doubts, or someone you know is not convinced, just give it a few days of “Dedication”, with a full hear and mind and you will believe! I love Adriene and cannot thank her enough for changing my life and making me take a little time every day! I will definitely return to Dedicate throughout the year. Namaste to you all!

I read your email today that started with this quote: Don’t be satisfied with stories, how things have gone with others.Unfold your own myth. by Rumi. (Jan 13, 2019)

Today was not a good day and many thoughts and possibilities entered my mind about my future and how to proceed. Even those that no one dares to speak. Your email proved it’s weight in gold. Thank you for opening a door for me at just the right time. I will keep your communications close from here on.

I wish you calm peace and happiness.

My husband and I tried to do your 30 day program at the urging of our children. We are retired and have the time. I really like you and I really like your program, but we gave it up after four days. It was way too much talking. We really wanted to get more exercise and not have to listen so long to the meditation part of the program. If you could make it a little more active, we would give it another shot.

Diane – if you can stick with it a little longer than the first 4 days – it gets moving. There are a lot of beginners participating that Adriene helps get set up in the beginning and then she moves on with some good flow days, core, etc. I really suggest trying to hang in – and you can always fast forward!

    Hi Adriene,
I just wanted to drop a note to say how grateful I am for coming across your videos. I first found you on YouTube when I was searching for yoga to help with grief when I lost my father back in November. I have found my comfort and solace in your teachings & I always walk away feeling happier and lighter which is a wonderful thing for me, especially with my grief.
    So again. Thank you.
    Namaste

Safe and happy trails–on your current trip and always.
Your work is so valuable to so many of us and your example for others is a part of that.
This is my 5th annual challenge with you and I appreciate your videos all year long. I feel sure that your efforts (and the ease I find in relating to your style and personality) are adding great value to my retirement years, keeping me able and motivated to pursue my volunteer efforts, gardening and a little travel. (I selfishly hope that you will not allow success or any “experts” divert you from your own wisdom. It “ain’t broke”.)

I am an absolute beginner … I am 45, I had a stroke and I have been barely moving for the last year. I love the format and the way your course looks, but now that I am healing I tried your course and the first video I FAILED. I have started with a 7 minute video that was designed for older people in rest homes, I was able to do that, now I am working on stretching courses. I am goign to try to come back to this when I can. Are there any recommendations for someone like me? I am getting stronger and I can feel the flow I want to do this.

I’ve been feeling super anxious after the yoga, so I decided to stop. Any advice on grounding?

    Thanks

Hi Adriene, I started doing yoga because of you 2 years ago. I took a long break in the past 6 months and now that I’m back with these 30 days, I can’t believe I ever stopped.

You make me want to be a better person 🙂

    Lots of love from Germany,
    Rita

Thank you for your e-mails. I have been following your videos since September 2017. I am a runner and in August of that year I suffer a sprain to my ankle and I was not allowed to run. Yoga became my escape and I fell in love with it (having tried it before with not much luck). I am back to running but mix my workouts with yoga and it has given me more flexibility and strenght as well as this feeling of loving my body a lot more than I used to (it still looks the same, but I appreciate it a lot more).

I started on time (January 2nd) the Dedicate practice, but only found out about the e-mail when I found you on instagram. I am sure you get a lot of e-mails everyday but if there would be a way to get me on the list of the e-mails for the actual date when things started it would be great. If not, there is not problem. I still read them and get inspired.

Thank you for everything Adriene, yo have helped me with so much, you can’t even begin to imagine.

    With love,

Hi Mariana – the way the emails are set up, everyone gets them depending on when they signed up. There is a place you can read them the day they go out and that is the FWFG Kula which you can find here: http://www.fwfgkula.com We have a special Dedicate “Room” there that you can join!

    dear adriene,
i dont really practice yoga, i stretch here and there or do a couple of head swirls, but i watch your videos cause even that relaxes me (believing for years that one day it would turn me into a yogi)
i just wanted to say : thank you! for the effort, for the kind words and support and for making us all feel unique.
    take care,
    ika

How did I not know about this wonderful woman on Youtube until now? Just started a week ago and after only 4 days, I got my mojo back! I’m not kidding. I actually thought libido was over. Thank you for all you do for so many of us, (((Adriene)))

Hey guys… this is my third 30 day yoga journey with Adriene and I’ve been a huge fan… but does the talking every stop? I’m on day 2 and have actually just had to pause and walk away from the video because I can’t take it anymore. In past videos, sure Adriene is chatty and I love that but this is… intense 😀

If the series continues this way, I think I’ll give it a miss and enjoy her other videos but if it calms down after a day or so I don’t want to miss out!

    Hi Adriene!
I like your video, you have a soft voice and you’re also beautiful, not just beautiful on the outside but also on the inside I can tell. So nice of you to share videos about yoga. -Mindy

I’m a great fan of your videos – you’ve been a wonderful influence in my life and in my yoga journey. I do find that in some of your videos there is too much talk – and it distracts from the physical flow experience.
I wonder if you would consider offering a lengthier video with less verbal content – although basic instruction and guidance is definitely appreciated. Thank you Adriene!

Love the idea of the 30 day challenge, and love Adriene’s energy in her video’s however I was struggling to enjoy the practice with the high verbal content. It pulled me out of focus a few times.

    Adriene,
I am 68 years old, in good health, but not flexible at all. I have almost completed the Home series, motivated by a slight injury to my hip. It has alleviated most of the discomfort and I am enjoying it very much. I am looking for another series to follow this one, but I am a beginner. Does anyone have recommendations? Thanks!

And thank you, Adriene, for excellent, patient explanations and demonstrations for this of us just beginning. 🙂

I found this wonderful site and this inspiring experience as I’m on day 17 of 30 day DEDICATE series. First time I’ve ever stuck to an on-line class. Am SURE it’s because of Adriene’s accessible, fun & skillful style. She is so authentic
Shared my experiencing with 20 friends and some had become fans in prior years
