Feb is a short month so we decided to answer the requests for short practice video with a month of Yoga Quickies. Set the tone for your day and remember, a little goes a long way!

Yoga Quickies show us that we do not need 30, 60, 75 min. That we don’t always have to do legs on leg day. But rather, that the reward, the cookie, the good stuff actually just arrives when you do too.

  1. Thank you for your gift Adriene. The last 4 months since I found your practice has been eye opening. I work with children and heard on one of your videos that you taught yoga to kids at one point. I'm wondering whether you could consider creating a series of short yoga videos to be implemented in the classroom? It would be a fantastic addition to the mindfulness practices that are taking over contemporary education.

      1. me too! I know that others have had success with yoga. I just don't know where to start without being boring. help please!!

    1. +1!!! I'm a public school teacher and I work with a lot of students who have been exposed to trauma, and though I've found lots of books and card decks with yoga poses, I haven't found a good video series to use with my students. I would love if you were able to create that.

    2. I really hope Adriene can help with this, but in the meantime I was just wondering if you have seen Go Noodle ? My daughter's teacher was using this in the classroom last year, and there are short videos for all sorts of things from high energy dancing to guided breath meditations and short yoga sequences. My daughter loved it, and still likes to do it at home. We sometimes do the relaxation videos and breathing meditations together before bed, and I've been known to be talked into doing some of the bouncing about high energy dance routines - which usually make me realise how unfit I am!

  4. You are changing my life! As a 47 year old woman unable to run anymore due to an Achilles' tendon issue I started doing yoga - your yoga - in my home almost everyday since September of last year. I was feeling like nothing was happening as I'm quite tight in my legs and hips. But then I realized I no longer have a tendon issue. And the other day when I sat on my knees during practice my bum touched my heels (when I started there was at least a 2 inch gap). IT'S WORKING. YOU'RE WORKING. THANK YOU for changing my life with your free practices, your patience and mostly for being the only yogi who has helped me accept where I am. Every other yogi has made me feel shame for not being able to bend enough, coming over and pushing me lower. Accepting where I am has slowly allowed me to go somewhere new. Thank you so much.

  5. Hi Adriene, really enjoy your yoga videos. I do them daily. I am 47 years old and have bursitis in both hips and wondering if you have videos or can do a video that touches on this subject.

  6. Thank you for this video! As a college student I try to do mini workouts or meditations between tasks when studying and this is ideal.

  7. Loved doing this short practices this morning. Sometimes (many times) mornings are hectic so it was nice to give myself a quick yoga treat to set the day off right! So grateful for you and all that you do.

  11. Oh this is lovely! IT has been so hot and humid in Queensland, Aus. I've struggled to get through practices, these quick practices are so refreshing, even in the sweaty humidity! Thank you for being you - you amazing lady!

  12. Thank you Adriene for being such a great teacher. I'd taken yoga classes in the past but never incorporated it into a daily practice. I began doing daily yoga with you last August and have never seen so much change so quickly in my body! I'm a 58 year old woman and was trim except for my mid-section. I'm happy to say that I lost 10 pounds within a month or two and now have 4- pack abs! I'm working on the lower ones to complete my 6 pack! I'm so much more limber now! It's also helping me to bust some stress - much appreciated!

  17. I'm guessing this may be a year ago. I teach elementary special education for mostly students who have learning disabilities, add/adhd, and autism. I'd like to do 5 minutes of yoga a day with them, but I can find only a couple videos, at most, one of which is yours.

    PLEASE, PLEASE could you do a 5 minute yoga for children series!!! I would SO, SO appreciate it, and share it with my friends/colleagues.
