Day 5 of 30 Days of Yoga! Feel Alive Flow! This practice will help you shake off the blues to feel revitalized and fresh again!

Use this Day 5 practice to check in with the breath. Let the breath be the soundtrack to this practice. Notice what it feels like to be ALIVE today. Meet your edge but don’t take anything too seriously. Today is a reminder to have some fun! Smile and stretch it out. Give thanks! You are ALIVE! Yoga helps up notice what it feels like to be alive and in the moment. Give thanks and enjoy!

Connect and support others down below! Cultivate positivity. Remember each day is different! The journey is the reward! See you tomorrow!

    Thank you for your gift of generosity by sharing your 30 day challenge. I had already decided I was going practice yoga every day for the month of January. I was not sure how to choose a video then I came across yours. I love it. I am on day 5 because I live in New York I am an hour ahead of Texas. I practice early so you may not have posted the video for that day yet. But I don’t care.. I am just thrilled that I found you and your website.

    I loved today’s practice!!! It was the perfect day for a little yoga to get over my winter blues! I’m loving getting on the mat every day and feeling my body and my mentality change, I’m feeling happier and more relaxed each day! Namaste!

    Loved the pants, Adriene πŸ™‚ Was glad it was only a shorty today as it is 10:30 pm for me now and I am ready for bed. So did not feel so alive during the practice but it was still nice to have a good stretch at the end of a long day. Thank you!

    Hey Adriene,

    I’m still on day 5, but I want to thank you, that the beginning of the challenge brought me back to the mat with ease and comfort. I’ve been trying to find my way back since November, but I was always able to find excuses. / Despite of the fact that for yoga, you don’t need excuses, because he need to focus on you and your mental state/. These first five days really helped me to re-find what feels good once again. Everyday, when I finish work, I can’t wait to go back home and do my new yoga challenge.

    Just wanted to say thank you for creating these wonderful yoga videos! I’m only on day 5 but I’m already feeling GREAT! I’d been trying to find a way back to yoga since having twins (over extended hips and shockingly bad back) and hadn’t found anything right until now. You have a fun and kind energy about you that is inspiring and makes me smile everyday.

    I have to admit after day 2, I cried! (embarrassment alert!) Not out of pain or joy, just shear release and taking time out for me.

    So thank you, thank you for bringing me back to my mat, you’re doing a wonderful job.

    THANK YOU! I am a yoga instructor living in Canada and have just gone back to work full time (not teaching but my “day” job) after being on maternity leave for a year. I’ve found that since I’m back at work full time the only time I am getting to my mat is on the two days a week I teach – boooo to me! This 30 day challenge has brought me back to the mat as a student who is doing it just for me! It’s made me fall in love with my practice again…I know, horrible for a teacher to admit, but sometimes it hard to remember that you love this and it isn’t just a job.
    Also, your playful approach is similar to mine – LOVE It. We can’t take our practice (or ourselves) too seriously! You’re awesome and just wanted you to know it! xo

    I’m notoriously bad at sticking with things consistently, and I’m so encouraged that it’s day 5 and I’m still with it–I’m actually excited to get on the mat every morning and even doubling up in the evenings with some of your other videos.     DAY 5: Feel Alive!!! Time to rock and roll and get rid of the kinks and start winking at life!!! Many of the poses are challenging areas of my body with screeches of discomfort which is great, because it means I’m knocking on their door and they are responding! Also noticed there is quite a bit of “seasoned body fat” that when gone would make my practice and my body feel more at ease. Also feeling the lower back begin to loosen and strengthen. As a frequent flyer on the computer (laptop) my wrists are also happy to be extending themselves. All in all I’m happy I said YES to your 30 Day-Yoga Challenge Adriene. For those who feel the water may be too cold, come back in, the water is fine and scrumptious and will begin to feel comfortable the longer you stay with it! Masha Danki Adriene!!!!

    Thank you so much for doing this Adriene. Just 5 days in and I’m already feeling an improvement in my overall well being. I love that you check in and let your yogis know to smile during their practice – I find I start doing that now randomly throughout! My body already feels stronger and more in tune thanks to your videos and the daily emails help me to stay motivated!! You combine humble peacefulness with a little bit of playful humor and it’s making this the best yoga experience I’ve had thus far πŸ™‚

    It’s amazing how well these are lining up with my life. We’re going on a big hike today, so I was hoping for a short and sweet practice, and it was! Yippee!

    I love how you keep talking about creating space, melting the shoulders, and lifting the heart – in all sorts of poses where I was totally neglecting to remember to do that. I’ve been carrying that to my life: yesterday was the first time I scrubbed the floors, scrubbed the tub, and did the dishes without getting painfully tight in my upper back. I’m really starting to live my yoga off the mat with this practice.

    Loving this challenge so much! I am noticing such changes in my body, feeling stronger and learning quite a bit. I combine the daily video with your yoga for lower back video where I have a lot of tightness and that has been awesome.

    Dear Adriene, YOU ARE AWESOME!! I am on Day 5 out of 30 and LOVING IT!! I’m still not sure how I stumbled across your video on You Tube but boy am I happy I did!! I first started practicing Yoga 3 years ago and dove into the deep end Bikram style in my local centre. Sadly though classes became more and more expensive and I had to stop going despite feeling the best I had done in years, I was SO upset and a bit resentful as I thought surely Yoga should not be about profit anyway?! A year on and I find myself itching to get back on the mat and just generally get myself back in shape after a stressful time of life and work. Fortunately I found your videos and am so grateful, THANK YOU! You bring a laughter and light to practice which I hadn’t experienced before and it is a beautiful reminder to not take ourselves so seriously! So despite working 12.5 hour shifts and getting home tired and hungry, I’m still managing to get on my mat and that is down to your generosity of sharing your practice with others! Keep up the good work and many thanks again!!

    These videos are an amazing gift for me. This is the,first time ever that i have: 1. Been able to follow and stay with a practice in many years. 2. Posted comments to anything–that is how good tgese make me feel. I am 3 days behind the emails because u started 1 day late, and then was laid up for 2 days after a fall in my garden. This morning i was bsck on the mat, grateful to be stretching out. Your encouragement enables me to be non-judgmental and hopeful sbout my practice, to keep moving and testing my body gently without giving up. Namaste!

    I’ll start off by saying that I never comment on things but I just really wanted to say thank you. Seriously, this is changing my life. A year ago my husband and I adopted four rediculously awesome in addition to our two bio kids. It has been an amazing journey but my body has taken so much of the stress–I look like I’ve aged 7 years. I’ve put on weight and I operate mostly on coffee. I have done at least one of your videos every day for about ten days and I FEEL SO MUCH BETTER. I have less cravings, I don’t feel like crashing after yoga- I actually have more energy! This is seriously a game changer. It’s not a rare sight to see me and 6 kiddos pull up a yoga mat (or favorite blankie) and rock out to one of your videos. My kids love you, they think you’re “probably really nice.” Thanks for all your free videos and L❀️VE!

    Hello Adrienne! I recently started 30 days of yoga as a complete beginner. I absolutely love yoga and you! I did have a question. When I do my warrior pose, I feel a tickle in my tail bone. I was wondering if that was normal or if maybe I’m doing something wrong? Thanks!!

    you’re amazing! you have a way of knowing just how I’m probably feeling at any moment and gently reminding that tells me you really know your stuff. I love my sessions with you each day and I’m not overwhelmed or feeling overworked and sore the next day. thank you so much for this gentle intro back into yoga.
