I have Degenerative Disc Disease/Spinal Arthritis. It can be challenging especially at a young age. Through yoga, swimming, spinning, and physical therapy, I have found ease in my back pain and joy in a healthier body. I cannot thank Yoga with Adriene enough for this process and for helping me find more love of myself along the way. I am really grateful for today's practice and its focus on spinal health! Here's to our yoga practice, the journey, and finding what feels good!
Hi Adriene! I'm new to yoga. I think your practices are GREAT! I learn a lot and it's relaxing and fun. You have a lovely personality, and it's so nice to follow your practices.
I'm a few days behind everyone because I started late, but just wanted to say that this was awesome. I've always had trouble with tree pose and warrior III and today for the first time I felt strong and controlled in these poses. ๐
DAY 12: A happy and healthy support system -- no one succeeds alone and I thank Adriene for providing this practice that seeks the support of our inner self. Today's practice was challenging for me as my balance was more the image of a toppling tree as legs were wobbly due to yesterday's challenging walk and swim. Happy baby nearly made me cry as my sunburned back reminded me of my endeavors of yesterday. All in all a practice that requires much more practice and finding my inner support and opposition. Thank you Adrienne, you are a blessing in my life (and many others around the world)! Loving each day and loving the journey of finding my best self in 2015 <3!
Adrienne you are incredible. I've struggled with health issues for years of all variations and never have I felt so healthy and so strong. I've even lost 7 lbs during these last two weeks. I'm flexible and free. My body has never been happier because now my mind, body, and soul are all connected. I am happy and completely worry free. Thank you for doing this amazing challenge and for being so dedicated to helping the lives of others through the beautiful practice of yoga. I'm a Yogini for sure now. Thank you for being so lovely.
Ive never done yoga before and you've got me hooked! All the other sessions although challenging haven't been as hard as Day 12 for me...I definitely need to do some more feet stretches as I was getting cramp in them trying to do the balancing poses!
Thank you so much for sharing your fantastic videos with everyone....as always I'm looking forward to tomorrows session!
Skipped day 11 yesterday because I was so exhausted, but after I did day 11 today I felt energized enough to catch up with day 12! Success. Lesson learned today though, slick pants make it tough to do tree pose. How many other people figured that out today too? haha
I have been keeping up with the 30 days of Yoga by Adriene, and so far I have been doing good. Most times, with regular exercises I loose motivation but with Yoga, once I get on the mat, I get motivated. I am loving it so far and Adriene has made me into a new convert. I am getting better each day ๐
Thank you so much for this! My lower back has been tender for the past few days and I've been inching through my practice.
During the reclined spinal twist I felt my back crack once on each side and my pain lessened by a mile. Now I can pick up my baby without cringing. You're the best!
After having two kids, I lost a lot of muscle tone and strength just because I haven't had time to workout. After Day 12, I already feel stronger and more toned. Even better, I feel amazing and am definitely finding myself again. Thank you!
Just curious about the Barton Springs pose. That was cute, wonder why you named it that. Just that it is relaxing maybe? It's been a few years since I've been there. Loving this practice. I'm a few days behind but that's okay, I'm still going.
I started yoga using the WII (it's okay to laugh), after several years thought it was time to find the real thing, and found you on youtube and fell in love with every bit of it. I have problems with my knees, but I feel they are becoming stronger with each practice and balance is coming along, tree pose is still a struggle, but I will get there. Thank you so much!
I absolutely cannot believe all of the amazingly wonderful content that you share for FREE. I am truly grateful. This has become my daily sanctuary. I've only been a casual yogi--the perpetual beginner. While that's still the case, this 30 day course is helping me make it a daily habit while being easy on myself regarding "progress". Thank you thank you thank you!

It is so great to be a part of this extended support group. I am loving this 30 day challenge - and I have practiced yoga for almost 15 years. Today I struggled with the tree pose and Warrior III - but other times it is much easier. One day at a time!
I am so glad I found you on You Tube! I never could get into yoga, but you have taught me to love it and my body does too! no more crazy joint-pounding cardio for me! I have found my zen! Thank you! Thank you!
I am so full of gratitude for this lovely series! My 7 month old and four year old sons and I have so much love for these practices. It has been a wonderful journey! What a beautiful idea...free yoga videos so all can have access. Thank you for that. You are fun, full of energy, silly, and light. All of these glorious qualities make for an airy practice and I thank you for that! Keep up the awesome work and namaste:)
Hi Adriene! Awesome practice with you every day, thank you so much I love this! I wanted to ask about the squat pose: when staying in it for a long period of time, my knees start to ache quite a bit. I was wondering if this is normal and will go away with practice or should I be more cautious?
Hi Millicent, it's normal for knees that aren't used to these poses to start to ache, but it is important to back off when the knee pain starts. You will most likely notice that you can be in the pose longer and longer, the more you practice and the more your knees strengthen, stretch, and get used to the pose. Please remember that it's never good to stick with a pose once pain kicks in - especially when it comes to joint pain.
Checking in from Sweden again after day 12 ๐ So happy to be back on my mat everyday. Yoga is amazing, my body and mind sends a big thank you for this "challenge" ๐
I am over here in Bolton, England and discovered you about 2 weeks ago- as we moved into this lock down situation. You are something positive every morning and a great start to a positive - focus for my day. Thank you so much. I nam beginning to need 2 sessions a day now!
thank you so much for this wonderful introduction to Yoga! new fan for sure!!

Tree Pose and Warrior III are difficult! Good balancing challenge today! Thank you so much!
Good balance poses. This will take some work. Feels good though.
Agree with Craig. Thought it was just me and having to practice with a bad cold. I need to repeat this one.

Day 12 - All about balance on one foot. Practice, practice, practice...will get you there.
I loved it even though I was wobbly and had a tough time balancing on one leg in Warrior III. Light pose but very deceptive about the skill required.
Thank you so much Adriene !

Hi Adriene,
Tree pose is still difficult and transitioning to Warrior III all the more. But still I enjoy the challenge. One day I will get it.
Thank you so much.
