12 Minute | Wind Down Yoga

This session was a huge request! Something short, simple, and easy to follow that you can wind down with.

This could be perfect for a number of scenarios such as…

  • transitioning from work to home
  • when you feel anxiety
  • when you feel stress
  • getting ready for bedtime.

Take a load off with this relaxing yoga session created to help you wind down, love, and honor your body. A perfect practice for after work or to help you ready for bed. And in under 15 minutes!

Give the thinking mind a break and relax the body. Let go of anything you don’t need.

Join me (and a VERY relaxed Benji) in noticing what it feels like to take this time for yourself.

A little goes a long way.

(You deserve it!)

Namaste.

  1. Good morning
I wanted to find out if are able to do a class for people suffering from sciatica. I have never had any issues until recently.
    Thank you.

  2. I’m a retired chemistry teacher living in the Shetland Islands, UK. I’ve done many yoga classes, and still do, but your channel and free videos have opened my eyes to home practise.
I look forward to my daily class with you and have yet to do one I didn’t enjoy.
Thank you for this work Adriene.
You ARE making a difference to people’s lives. Wow!Namaste.

  3. Thanks for such a beautiful letter, so well written and thoughtful, I’ve missed the daily practice of yoga, a bad back , through bending over badley , , this beautiful letter has inspired me to get back on the Mate.

  4. Hello there! I am wondering which videos I could check out for a little more challenge. I LOVED January ‘s Dedicate lineup. Ready to graduate up a level to work a little more. Not too much 😉 but something to grow with.
Thank you for recommendations, gratefully Barb

  5. Namaste Adriene

I'm writing to you from Cape Town, South Africa where sit in my home on this beautiful partly sunny Sunday morning with gratitude in my heart.

I have been following your practices for about 3 years now and as far as at home yoga guided by online videos goes, yours resonates with me most.nYour personality, soul, and style of teaching is just wonderful and I want to thank you for all of the hard work and effort that you put into making the gift of daily at home yoga practice available to and suitable for people from all walks of life. I myself, aspire to teach yoga in the near future. By the way, with that being said - could you recommend any specific schools/courses that truly stand out from the rest in your opinion/experience? I would love to your feedback as I haven'y yet decided on where to go with options being so widespread!

I hope this finds you well, and may you have the most amazing and blessed Sunday ever!

    With love,
    Tish

  6. Thank you so much my dear Adriene. I start each day with you and it feels sooooooo lovely to let go and move through your sessions day by day. I live in Switzerland, on Lake Geneva and you’re my guest on a daily basis, overlooking the lake and the Alps.
Your program is perfect for me and I feel very grateful.
    See you tomorrow. Looking forward.
    Francie

Your mission is really reaching it's goals. You are like our mentor and always help us to be on the move. It really helps me in my bussy streesfull schedule, when I get your e-mail with your directions.

I hope you enjoy your work as we enjoy it's result.

    Kind Regards,
    Tina

  12. Hi Adriene,

  13. Hi there I just wanted to say thanks for the time and effort you put into the process of getting the message out to me and I love your video and the older I get the more I realise how important it is to look after my self and I would like to add I love the positive vibe that you give off through your yoga

  14. Adriene, thank you so much for bringing back my love for yoga! I had done for years and adored it, but my practices got stale and boring and I found it difficult to find an instructor and practice that interested me anymore. So I stopped 🙁 and missed it terribly, but just had zero motivation. I started your dedicate series and now every morning it is the first thing I do to start my day and I look forward to it!! So, thank you from the bottom of my heart!! Keep up the awesome work! Namaste!

  17. I must agree with Millie here - I love your videos AND your love letters. And I am impressed by how you over and over again manage to come up with a video that makes me think "oh, this is exactly what I need!". Some days I make space to do yoga, some days not - but after joining my third "30 days" this January, I feel I now have my own little tool set of favorite poses that makes me able to do maybe just 5 minutes with something, even if I don't find my Ipad and start up a video. So great - thank you, thank you!

A little while ago (in one of your videos, I think) you encouraged to suggest topics for future videos, and I have one idea; to make a video that focuses on positions (and mind tools?) for fat people who wants to start moving. Not that we can't do your other videos out there, but the body seems to get in the way sometimes 🙂 I wouldn't call myself overweight, but I definitely do have a belly- and already with "only" that belly, it can be a problem, like withs childs pose. So - a video, or maybe a small series of videos, that can serve as a start-up-point for gettin' movin' for people who has a bit extra to move, would be great.
If you want me to explain a bit more what I mean, I'll be happy to do it in a mail or something, just get in touch with me 🙂

  18. Dear Adriene, you're changed my life! You and Benji!☺ Nice regards from Croatia and !!!

  19. Hello
I am missing the yoga videos from Day 8 to Day 23. It just jumps from 8. Has anyone else had this issue or perhaps I’m missing an instruction somewhere.
    Thank you for your help

    1. Eva, are you referring to the Dedicate series? Are you missing the videos for those days? If so, you can find the entire Dedicate series on the website here and on the YWA YouTube channel. Just search for "dedicate". This also applies to all the other 30 days series as well (the original 30 Days, Yoga Camp, Revolution, and True).
