Gratitude Practice

Yoga For Gratitude is here! A sweet gratitude practice for all! Take some time to connect to your breath and move your body. Moving meditation. Create space and give thanks. Love your spine and back body, tap into your core - work into the hips and link it all with your breath. This yoga practice is great for the whole body - physical and emotional. Light a candle, roll out the mat and connect to gratitude. Trust. This 35 min practice could be a game changer. ENJOY!

    I enrolled to the 30 Days of Yoga. Now is Day 6 for me and I just received an E-mail entitled "You're invited. As I read through it, it says "Online Gala", "Now" and I thought woohoo. Lucky me to read this e-mail in time. But then I realized that there won't be any sort of online chat party with other yogists. Ohhh but I already was kind of excited about getting in touch with other people from this community. So here I go. Maybe others will find their way here and we can talk a little.
    So hello to everyone. My name is Michael, i am from Germany and 28 years old. Just started Yoga a week ago and I am flexible like a plank. But I can see the effects it has on me and they are so drastically I coudn't imagine before.

    Thankyou I am so grateful and thankful for your words. I just love my yoga practice and one could say I'm addicted to it! You have given me so much inspiration and guidance to get on with my days. I'm not the type of person to cry at the "drop of a hat" but I find your blog so heart warming. Add Brisbane Australia to your list of roadshows events and I'm sure many of your international followers will be on the mat with you.

    Thank-you. I wanted you to know how thankful I am to you! Your videos have truly inspired me and not only have I improved physically in terms of posture, awareness of my body, strength and flexibility but I have also become a better person - more relaxed, focused, more giving etc. I have you to thank for all of this so I just wanted you to know that you have changed my life - it is an incredible thing that you are responsible for.

    I like the clear instructions and the humor you use.
    I started with the 30 day challenge and follow your videos now at least 4 times a week.
    It gives structure to the start of my day. Following by 20/30 minutes of meditation and a cold shower. Warm greetings Ton de Visser, Netherlands.

  11. Dear Adriene, I think you must have super powers. Somehow, your yoga videos always know what I need, even when I don't. In a week filled with missed deadlines, unexpected bills, a broken cooker, a sick pet, and a general lack of faith in my path ahead, I was really struggling to connect with my gratitude. I knew it was there, intellectually, I knew things will eventually work themselves out, but I couldn't FEEL it anymore. Still, I lit a candle and rolled out my mat, feeling every bit like a petulant child. (Well, I don't know what good THIS will do. Pah!)
    But then - you're gentle words of encouragement joined forces with my breath, and by the time I brought my hands to my heart that final time , I had a genuine smile on my face, and the day ahead didn't seem quite so daunting.
    So, a big heartfelt thank you, you really make a difference in my life.

  13. Adriene you have such a sweet disposition and I have learned so much from you. For the past year I have been trying to rediscover why I received my RYT200 four years ago. I graduated college, did my teacher training then found out I had to have brain surgery. After I recovered, yoga was pushed to the back burner and anger/frustration was becoming a normal everyday occurrence. Last year a great yogi friend told me about you and your videos and I started to remember why I yoga was so sacred to me. I am now teaching vinyasa/restorative classes and am spreading the world about you and your dedication. A big thank you! "Finding what feels good" should be in Wikipedia with a picture of your face โค

I just did this gratitude practice at 11pm Christmas Eve and I truely feel grateful for the space to do this (as well as Being grateful for other things) and thank you for your ever inspiring and calming videos. Anytime I need a little breather and a little time out I turn to YWA! Twice today in fact as I did the yoga for when you are sick this morning and I do feel better for it. THANK YOU and merry Christmas if you celebrate it.
