    1. Sabine you said it all. You summed up my feelings exactly. Here in England Adriene seems so far away until we get her lovely emails and join her on the mat. Then she seems so close as if in the room with us ! Thank you from the bottom of my heart too Adriene

  2. Hi Adrienne. First of all I want to thank you for introducing me to Yoga. I love the way you teach. Your love and kindness is so refreshing to me. Come to find out Yoga was just what I needed. I wanted to ask you...I think about a month or so ago you were talking about a supplement that gave you natural energy throughout the day. I can't find where it was or remember the name. Help! lol Safe and happy travels to Africa. I bet Benji misses you when you are gone. Julie

  3. Thank you for your on-going kindness, love and support.
I love your online classes (I am not very good at yoga but I try)
and you do make a difference in the world!

  4. Dear Adriene, I have bee meaning to let yo know this for s couple of years--that when I started your videos with the first of your 30 day camp--you have helped me through many transitions. I frankly don't know what I would have done without you. I am 56, and have had horrible knee issues all my life. When I started, I could not do anything that had me kneeling. Now I Cat/Cow till those cows come home. My scoliosis and spondylosis do not plague me. Moreover, in the past 2 years my husband and I became empty nesters, we moved twice and started 2 new jobs within that time--AND!--I went through menopause. And you wre there with me girl! In addition, my husband Jon started doing your videos with me--we do them at least 4-5 days a week. Did I mention I had hip replacement surgery in July? because of my yoga breathing, I had no issue with the breathing thing, I was in great physical health and strength, and have been back to doing your videos that last 2 weeks with some modification. I am very grateful to you, your spirit, and your work. Thank you so very much! Lucinda

  5. Dearest Adriene,

News of you travelling all the way to the tip of my continent and home, South Africa makes me VERY excited!
Where, and when will we be able to practice with you, if at all?

What a treasure that would be!

  6. Dear Adriene,

your news letter with this video just sent a beautiful wave through the universe on my side 🙂 The scoliosis video touches me because my dear husband is living with this condition. Also - he is currently on a visit back home in Cape Town 🙂 So with these lovely circumstances coming together and finding their way to me tonight (currently in Germany) I decided to follow the universe's nudge and write to you.

Thank you - from the bottom of my heart - for 'making self-love cool again' in such a gentle, self-compassionate, healing way. YWA has helped me find my way back to my own FWFG ways - most of the time via my yoga mat. Thank you for being you in this world.

    Lot's of love
    Andrea

  7. Hey Adrienne 🙂

Thanks for all your free practices! I was wondering if you could do a video for nurses/healthcare professionals? I'm newly qualified and working in an acute unit so it's quite stressful and I'm on my feet a lot. I'd love a practice to do in between long shifts, which helps me stretch out, reflect, recharge and relax.

    Thank you!

So much love to you! Xxx

  8. Dear Adrienne, it has become so important for me to practice every day that if for some reason I cannot, I feel guilty.
I really enjoy your classes, you are always full of life and energy, smiling and feeling happy, I try to be like this all my life.
    Thank you

  9. Dear Sweet Adriene, I am so excited to read about a weekend yoga retreat! How about Sedona near a cosmic vortex? Supposed to be a super spiritual place! If you are ever in Southern California again, I invite you to stay at my house!!! Oh wait, I feel like I know you, but you don't know me at all. Oh well, someday maybe...

  10. Thank you for sharing your love with the world. I want to embrace yoga but need to know what kind I am jeacynand stiff but I want mindful meditation practice

  11. Hi Adriene

I just read your email, when and where will you be in Cape Town, I would love to meet you, You have changed and gave meaning to my Life. I want to give you a big warm hug 🙂

  12. Hi Adriene,

I got shivers down my spine when I read that you're coming to my hometown, Cape Town! I hope you have a wonderful stay here. 🙂
I'm currently writing university exams and every morning, your yoga videos help me to align body and mind and focus on doing my absolute best. I can't even put into words how much this has helped me to cope with my stress and anxiety.
Thank you so much for being such a force of positivity and love in the lives of so many.
I wish you safe and happy traveling 🙂

  13. Hi Adriene!! I love your videos I love how you teach us. I suffer of Rheumatoid arthritis I have it more in my knees and feets, it really helps me your videos but sometimes it's hard to do it when I can't do some of the poses and I give up. So I was going to ask you if you can make a video for people who has RA. Please!

  14. How exciting that you are coming to South Africa!! I have been doing your videos regularly for 2 years and it has truly changed my life. I wouldn't have been able to access the magic of yoga (and with that, self care) if it hadn't been for your refreshing approach. Will you be teaching any classes in Cape Town?

  15. Dear Adriene-

I just wanted to say upfront that I love your e-mails and videos- I recommend your stuff at work (I'm a librarian) all the time, especially whenever anyone is checking out yoga DVDs or books. I recently broke one of my toes and am having trouble doing regular yoga without pain- do you have any recommendations for some of your videos that are good to use when you have some sort of foot injury?

Thanks so much for all that you do! 🙂

  16. Biggest Hello to Adrienne

  17. Hey Adriene!! Namaste. I'm writing to you all the way from India. I love you. Thank you for all the love and kindness you put in all your work..for us..Thank you for introducing me and making me fall in love with yoga☺ I have a small request.. Can you please please make a morning yoga series for YouTube. I know you do a lot for us. But if you can make a morning yoga series like the yoga ritual or the rise...i would be blessed..thank you Namaste

  18. I can't say anything that the other commenters haven't but I can echo them all a thousandfold! I love your videos, your teaching style, your demeanor and you GIANT HEART! Travel safe to South AFrica and back, so I can come to practice with you in Austin (I'm in Houston.)
A specific question that's kind of time sensitive---I just had cataract surgery and am not allowed to put my head below my waist for TWO WEEKS!!! How the heck do I practice yoga like THAT? Can you think of any of your videos that already function with that restriction? IF not, maybe at some time in the future, in all your copious free time (LOL) maybe you'll design one. I imagine that's a common constraint for many post-surgical patients and might turn out to be really useful.

Love you Adriene, and be well!

  19. Hi!

The song you wanted to know about is Zara Larsson with So good.

Thanks for a great yoga channel!

Best regards from Lisa from Sweden

  20. It's amazing that you thought about people with scoliosis! Thank you for offering your great videos for free. I have scoliosis, and have had corrective surgery that involved fusing most of my spine. So things like twisting and flexing at the waist are not really possible. For a long time I did not try yoga because I didn't think I could do it. Then I took an adaptive yoga class at my work, and it really opened my eyes to yoga practice and focusing on what I could do, instead of what I could not do. It's a lot to ask, but could you consider offering yoga instruction that is adaptable to people with physical limitations?

Thank you again for sharing your practice and your kind spirit!

  21. Hi Adriene! This is so amazing. I love that you are creating yoga classes that target specific health issues. Perhaps a Yoga for Fertility?

    Thank you and namaste!

  22. I practiced this Yoga for Scoliosis [after Yoga for Back Pain] this morning... ahhhhh.... and relax.
What a lovely stretching session for my back. The side twists, implementing 'squeeze and lift' were heaven; "oh yeah!" indeed.
    Superhero pose: tick!
    Spinal balance, extend: tick!
Side body twist, knee lifted: tick!
W arms in all poses: tick! ["ooooohhhh yeah!!"
    Thank you Adriene xx

  23. Adriene, is there an alternative for the happy baby? With my lower back scoliosis it's impossible for me and became more like an "unhappy baby" :/
Love every other posture and your gentle instructions!

  24. Love you Girl. Thank you for your encouragement, humar.and guidance.
    Leigh-Ann

  25. Thank you Adrienne. I have had lower back pain for over two years. Besides, his own help, my back doctor told me to use Yoga With Adrienne and do the one for Scoliosis. I've been doing it now a few times a week for a few months. It's fantastic. It stretch so many things I haven't stretched in years. I am almost pain free. It's terrific. I sincerely look forward to doing it.

    1. That's wonderful, Eric! So happy for you that you have a doctor that recommended yoga for you and that it is relieving you from your chronic back pain.

  26. I meant to add to my previous post a minute ago. Is yoga for scoliosis good for everybody whether or not one has scoliosis?

  27. This really made me feel good! I have scoliosis, so I was really quite happy when I found this video; because now I know that others want to help those like me. Thank you so much Adriene! It made me very happy. I'm glad that you put out this video.

  28. I really enjoyed this practice. I do not have scoliosis but it was an excellent stretch for my tight back muscles due to stress!
