Welcome to Day 4! In this 20 min session we will tend to the shoulders, the spine, the hamstrings and then end with a gentle core wake up. A low to the ground practice that invites you to focus on sensation.
Keep asking "How does it feel?"

Thank you!! Loved day four. Serious advanced yoga move at the end was great. Just keep smiling
I do have a question: if I can't do it one day, should I rather just continue with the next, should I just keep going and be one day behind, or should I redo the previous day and the missed day and so be two days behind?
It's completely up to you how you want to do it. There are people that do multiple classes in one day, and people that take months or even the year completing the 30 days - it's whatever works for you. There is no right or wrong way. ๐
I love that there are no rest days and no excuses and it was 9 pm before I made my way to the mat but I made it through today's shorter session! We were off to a hairy start because my doggie decided to hog my mat and I had his paw stuck on my third eye for child's pose for a good minute, lol!
PS: We missed Benji. Or I missed him because I wasn't looking at the screen so much today. Happy first weekend of 2019, everyone!
Thank you Adriene for this session! I have a question, are there some asanas forbidden to pregnant women? I am pregnant and do each session very slow, but maybe if there are some dangereous asanas, maybe could you notice it? ๐

Hi Charlotte! It's good to avoid poses where you are on your belly, like cobra, sphinx, bow, etc. It's good to avoid heavy core work (Adriene offers a supplemental video on Day 6 for pregnant women since that is Core day) and avoid poses that have you twist below the neck. And of course it's always good to check with your health care provider.
My boyfriend just broke up and it's so dark where I live..but doing your daily practice keeps my going and makes me smile in the darkness, thank you so much for this <3
Hi Ann. It is wonderful that you can find some peace in your dark time doing yoga. It might be important to give yourself this time, and lots of love, feeling all the anguish, and just letting it out on the mat. Good on you for being kind to yourself.
Love this! Thank you so much for offering these practices to us. These are motivating me to once again focus on getting healthy and fit both mentally and physically. Keep them coming!
I am taking this series very slowly - a lot going on at the moment and recent issues with my back have not helped. I show up as often as I can. Today I felt my hip flexors really opening. Just what I needed. Is it silly to cry at the end?
Good job listening to your body and finding what feels good for you, Lainey! And no, it's not silly to cry. Many of us have released tears and other emotions on our mats. ๐
this is amazing!!! & it's working for my body... I feel so good! thanks for making this free and accessible. YOU . ARE. TRANSFORMING. LIVES! and also the reclining goddess pose, wow almost cried while doing it... never felt so much pain doing a stretch but also felt so good at the same time. I hope I will continue to build my strength. by the time it was time to close my legs I was literally shaking! haha thank you for this session.

I can't wait for 5 days tomorrow, for me this is a mental and physical exercise. Thank you very much.
Thanks Adrienne. This course is perfection, and is helping me through isolation.
