  1. Adriene, Thank you for renewing my love for yoga and getting me back on the mat! I had really lost my mojo when it comes to working out in general and with yoga in particular. I couldn't find what worked and kept my interest. Everything seemed to either bore me and be no challenge or it caused injury. This 30 day program has been just what I needed! It keeps me interested and challenged and not only have I not injured myself, I have healed some areas that were aggravated and constantly sore. I am in love with yoga all over again! Thank you so much!

  2. I love you so much! I wanted to change my life last year and I found you on YouTube! I have lost 50 pounds since last July. I've dedicated myself to your videos and I have gotten my sexy back. I know you don't know me but thank you for helping me. You made me realize so much as a person and especially within myself. Please continue to educate us!! Now I have a lot of my Samoan cousins into yoga!! You def have a Polynesian community following you!! Fa'afetai lava Adrienne!!!!

    1. Ella, reading your comment just made me smile! Congratulations on your fitness journey and I send you light and energy for persistence as you continue with you practice! Namaste Ella!

      1. This is wonderful.. I love sun salutations and warrior... This really gives you energy and heats you up and makes you more flexible... Love it

  3. Adriene, you are a sweetiepie. I'm following your yoga for 30 days as a part of a "be kind to you and those around you" thing. It's my first foray into yoga and I couldn't be happier to do it with you! One teeny thing...at the end when we're all relaxed and cosy (and could possibly stay there for 5 minutes more) is there any way you could end your video with a teensy bit more stillness? A 2 minute relaxing music interlude perhaps? That would be awesome beans!!

    1. I totally agree - some extra savasana time would be great, because otherwise I spend the whole time wondering if I should get up now!

      1. I love calming music for my yoga practice, so I have pandora running in the background when I watch every one of her videos. I just entered "Yoga" into pandora and lower the sound right there on the website so it won't over power anything that she says, and then I feel comfortable to stay in the last position if I want to. No awkwardness, just let the video finish and hear your own music in the background. It's also nice when you hear it during the practice as well.

        1. Could you please explain what you mean? My interpretation is you have something like iTunes running in the background. Am I close?

  4. Had to skip from 7 to 10 due to limited time. Turned our perfect. Just what my stiff body needed. Back to 7 tomorrow.

  5. Even though I missed yesterday due to a fullschedule, I am going to do today even feeling under the weather. Maybe it will boost my immune system a bit!

    Thank you Adrienne!

  6. I love this one Adriene! My mornings are a little hectic so I usually do your videos at night. This one is so quick and revitalizing though that I'm going to try and do it every morning! Thanks so much!

  7. Day 10: Sun Salutations -- Thank you Adrienne for a wonderful practice of gratitude this morning! It was perfect to begin my day at 5AM as I prepared for "The Ride for the Roses," walk and swim, and more importantly, feeling very grateful for the prayers around the world as my Mother was released from the hospital after suffering from an acute stroke at 82. (Her birthday was January 21st and mine on January 20th!) It's been a week of very mixed emotions so having your yoga practice to ground me each day and get in touch with my "I-am-ness" has been very important. You are a blessing in the lives of many around the globe! Look forward to meeting you in person one day!

  8. Dear Adriene,
I love this video. The music is awesome too!
Thanks for your great classes, so nice to be able to do yoga at home, finally!
    cheers

  9. Hi Adriane!
I came to the party late so am only on Day 10, but loving the 30 day challenge!! I like the length of the videos, as well as the variety each day. And of course, your free spirited and fun approach to yoga!!!

I have a question about the Day 10 practice. I noticed you always put the right foot forward and back. In the past I have alternated legs so I am wondering if I missed something here? Keep up the great work!!!!

    1. Hi Dianne, by always moving the right leg you are alternating the side of the lunge - when you put the right leg back at the beginning you are lunging with you left foot in front. Then when you put the right leg forward towards the end you are lunging on the other side. So in each round you lunge on both sides. Is that what you meant, or have you swapped the order in alternate salutations?

      1. I had the same question. My right leg feels more stretched out after the video. Can I repeat the video and do the left side?

  10. Hi Adriene, thanks for what you do. I clicked on donate and it didn't seem to work, and my paypal account is working fine when I go into it separately. Just so you know.

    Thanks Nancy

  11. Great way to start my day!! Thank you for sharing your practice and putting a smile on my face everyday. I have really noticed a change in my mood over the last 10 days and I think that yoga is the answer! Thank you again!!

  12. Hi Adriene, thanks so much for your wonderful videos! I have been loving my new yoga routine for the last 10 days!
I do have a couple of questions though. As a sun salutation lover I was really excited when I read today's email and practically jumped out of bed to start right away. But when I did start, I felt quite dizzy and sickish. First I thought it was because I didnt pay any attention to my breath. Now I'm not sure and was wondering if you know more about that sort of thing? Should I just "push through" and keep doing it or just do some more relaxing poses today?
I would just love to hear your (and the community's!) ideas and recommendations!
    Namaste 🙂

  13. Hi Adriene,
Another awesome Day 10 - of sun salutations, all doable. You really stepped up the pace slowly but you led us slowly into it. Very nice ! At the end, I was warm and energized. Thank you so much.
I took your advice at the start and did some cat cows and child sleeping pose, to remove the stiffness of my back and make it springy. After that I followed you.
I have the same question which Diane has posed above. You stayed with the right foot i.e. putting it back and forward? Is that for convenience or can one alternate between right and left?

    Namaste,
    Satish

  14. A third of the way done already?!?! Crazy! These are so energizing, I really wish I was a morning person I'd wake up and do this every morning, but alas, I am a through and through night owl.

  15. I have practised yoga off and on (mostly off) for over 20 uears. I found your Yoga Challenge on Youtube. After following your videos, I know am going to stick with it this time. I feel great afterwards, I love your style of teaching, and the sessions are not too long. I may never be able to do the Crow posture or stand on my head, (i am 69 years old), but I will definitely continue with your wonderful videos. Thanks so much!

  16. Day 10 was wonderful! I feel energized and awake and alive and happy. Ready to start the week! I have a feeling this simple sequence is one I'll be coming back to again and again.

  17. This was just what I needed today! At the risk of offering TMI, it's 'that time of the month' for me and today was the kind of day that I knew movement would be especially beneficial but not too much, not too fast and the kind of challenge that would increase by gentler increments, rather than some furious all out push. As a result, my breath and my body were truly able to move in harmony and any muscle tension or discomfort melted away and was replaced by an energetic feeling.
After a nice shower, my body and spirit feel 100% better.

For this, I am very grateful.
    Thank you!

  18. That was great 🙂 Only was 10 min but my whole body worked well and was warmed and I was pleasantly sweaty by then end of it. I think this was the first day I was able to move smoothly/continuously while focusing on my breath. What a great way to start my day I feel amazing, thank you!

  19. This video is just what I needed today. It's simple and heats up the body quickly. Getting back on track!

  20. I have a question for you. I have done yoga a little bit before, but I stopped because I started to get a pain in the bottom of my left heel when I stepped on it. After a while (and some acupuncture and a visit to the podiatrist and treatment for plantar fasciitis), the pain went away. I didn't do any yoga for about four months, then I found your 30 Days of Yoga series. I got to Day 8 and started to feel the same pain in my heel. I did Day 9 and then stopped because I didn't want to aggravate it any more. I have been stretching and wearing supportive shoes to deal with the p.f., but this pain doesn't feel like p.f. pain (it never did. I DID have p.f. issues with my other foot, however, so I know the pain feels different). I know that you're not a doctor, and I am not looking for medical advise. I was just wondering if you've ever experienced this or known of anyone who has. It seems to come around when I do yoga, so I figured I'd ask someone who knows yoga. I was thoroughly enjoying the series, though. I am hoping to pick it back up soon!

  21. Great session. It was short and sweet and sweaty. I took your advice and did the stretches beforehand.

  22. Adriene, this was GREAT! Really got jucies flowin' 🙂

P.S. Love your little openers to each video in this challenge 😀 Большой теплый привет из России! (big warm hag from Russia)

  23. Thank you! This is so wonderful, the 30 day challenge is such a great idea and so do-able... and you are a pleasure to be taught by! Feeling like a friend is so lovely <3 And my nickname is actually Juju so every time you say anything to do with good or bad juju I get a little giggle. My practise has already helped me quit smoking, develop a much-needed loving relationship with my body and keep me smiling. Thank you so much. You rock 😀

  24. Your video's are super Adriene, thanks for making this!! I'm at day 10 and haven't missed one 🙂 Feels good!

  25. Thank you for today! It was a great way to start my morning and I felt so strong! 10 down 20 more to go!

  26. I am a bit hate to the party as ever but am LOVING 30 days! Day 10 was fab like visiting s old friend - however I have always alternated bringing in each leg. This practice was all right sided - just wondered why? Can't wait for day 11 already!

  27. Late yo the party as ever but loving 30 days. Usually alternate bringing in of legs noticed that this practice was all right leg - just wondered why? Can't wait for day 11 already!

  28. You are making me love you!

I Just love your work! Your lovely work!
I'm so addicted to this plan! What a great experience with Yoga!

  29. I fell down a step in September and have been healing from two undiagnosed hairline fractures since than. It's be a long 8 months away from physical activity. I finally, finally, finally feel better and committed myself to completing this 30 day challenge last week. And I just want to say thank you, thank you, thank you for making this available. I'm terribly self-conscious and find your teaching to be so warm and encouraging and accessible even to me who hasn't done much beyond walking between the couch and the fridge for the better part of the last year.

  30. Adriene, I cannot believe I have just found your channel but it has blown my mind! I've never been able to do Yoga very well but your videos just make it seem so much easier. So I am now on day 10 of the 30 day yoga - whoop whoop!

I live in London, England and just wanted to say thank you for what you do for everyone. 🙂

    Thank you.

  31. Hi, I am new to this programme, well day 10 new! I wonder why we just step the right leg back in these sun salutations and not give the left a go. I am interested!
    Thank you,

  32. Adriene, thank you so much for your videos. You are THE BEST yoga instructor I have ever come across. I am 19, and often feel very stressed and anxious. Your videos allow me to just let go of all that tension and feel relaxed and happy again.

  33. So far this is the shortest exercise in the 30-day yoga but not the easiest. Love it, definitely wakes you up.

  34. This is my 3rd round using this series, day 10 on the 14th, kind of late for a few days...
