TRUE - Day 26 - Be Still

Enlightenment for a wave is the moment the wave realizes that it is water.

At that moment, all fear of death disappears. - Thich Nhat Hanh

Today’s practice invites you to lean in and see what you are really made of.

Take your kindness and your awareness practice with you and strap in…

Lean in.

A yoga and pranayama practice to help you spiral in to the present moment and find a little stillness.

This practice reminds us of the power of stillness in both body and mind. It reminds us how important and empowering it can be to take the time for regular self inquiry and reflection.

Sadhana.

Today, when you can find stillness, allow the breath to move you.

Lean in and learn.

Learn to love and recall…

You are made of love.

Take comfort!

See you tomorrow,

Adriene

PS: Wondering what we shall do after Day 30? I got you! We will have a free February yoga calendar for us all to follow along with. We will stick to our practice and connect - which will bring more energy and joy into your days! Let's keep going! x

What is sadhana? It’s a committed prayer. It is something which you want to do, have to do, and which is being done by you. … Sadhana is self-enrichment. It is not something which is done to please somebody or to gain something. Sadhana is a personal process in which you bring out your best.

  4. This is the first time I've done a yoga practice for this many days in a row! Some days I find it hard to show up, but find the practice goes quickly. I also found it hard to find stillness on my right, why is that?

  6. Delighted to read that we will continue in February. I’ve enjoyed every single day so far of the January calendar. The sessions are a fantastic way to start each day. The fact that that I’m still with you on day 26 shows how much I’ve benefited from ‘getting down on the mat’!

  7. Something amazing happened today at the end of my practice! At my Namaste bow, I felt a warmth of gratitude I have never left before!!! It is the most delicious feeling ever! Thank you for leading me here Adriene.

  8. I love the playfulness at the start of the video. It actually helped me recall which one I left off on. I was like- "oh yeah, I remember her singing that at the start of the video." 🙂

  9. I discovered you, Adriene, just by chance in December as I was looking for a restorative yoga class online. I did a few of your individual classes with specific goals and then discovered your 30 day "Home" practice and completed that in January and now I am on Day 26 of your "True" 30 day practice. I am a yoga teacher and you have enriched my practice so much and, I must admit, I was not practicing daily - until now. Every day I look forward to seeing what you offer. You have a great depth to your teaching and I thank you so much for what you have provided to our world! Namaste.
