TRUE - Day 20 - Awaken

Our love, which is our real self, doesn't die, but merely goes underground.  Marianne Williamson

Today’s session is 25 mins and will breeze by!

Today’s session is a gentle wake up call and perfect for relieving stress and tension road blocks.

Move stagnant energy with a focus on your breath and re-awaken the good stuff.

Yoga today will be particularly awesome for those who tend to carry stress or tension in the neck, shoulders, and upper back. A mindful low impact practice to tend to the body, lean in, and begin to unlock.

The vocabulary expands today!

Ease in, set your foundation, and use this time to check in with the body.

Day 20 asks us to start to really lean in to some of they key topics of TRUE.

A blossoming.

An uncovering…

Begins.

Happy exploring!

See you on the mat.

Love,

Adriene

PS: The next two practices after today are 20 min. FINESSE then RELEASE. Now don’t those sound awesome?!

PPS: HERE is your printable TRUE calendar! We caught one typo and this calendar has an update on Day 25. So if you want a freshie here you go! If not, no biggie! xo

    1. look closely and you'll see him walk past the window towards the end of the session!

  1. Thank you so much, Adriene! I love your videos and especially your january series. I made yoga revolution almost 12 times last year, I repeated it over an over.
Today was a surprisingly energizing sequence even though it was low to the ground, I loved it.

  2. So thankful to have this challenge in my life. Sad I couldn’t go to my weekly yoga class this morning because I’m having issues with the joints on two of my fingers on my right hand. Being at home means I’m not pushing myself to the extreme and furthering my injury.

  3. Love it, surprised myself today while focusing on the sits bones and then folding deeper than ever into the forward bend. Can't believe it's only 10 more days.

  4. Thank you for this series! It is much easier for me to fit into my day than heading out to a class.

I am a little behind because I didn't feel well over a few days but I am back on it now and loving it. I feel like it is helping my mind, body and spirit - Although I am still struggling to keep my mind focused on the breathing and not wandering off.

    This was lovely class.

  5. Not eben two hours ago, I felt as though I was rider a shelter skelter and I couldn't get off.
It's crazy how much we put over own own wellbeing, whether it be, physical, emotional or spiritual.
The one thing this practice has allowed me to do is to open back up to myself, allow myself to feel lost, yet slowly touch my feet back to the ground. I am so grateful for this time every day, and I feel more like myself with each passing session. Thank you Adriene.

    1. I was in that exact same moment today, Skyah. I had been off the mat for almost two weeks and felt like I was about to reach a skidding halt! "Awaken" was the place I left off, and the right place to wake back up. I got too busy taking care of my family, animals, and my patients and stopped caring for my self. The sadness creeps in, and YWA is where I get back to center. It's like a restart button.

  6. I am deeply grateful that I can search a topic and find just what I need. Today I typed Upper back and shoulders into the search bar and I chose this video. Perfection.

  7. "Always take a moment to set your foundation"

This is the best advice for all circumstances and situations!! Adriene has said this approximately 2 million times in her videos, but today I *got* it in a new way. I am going to try to remember this every time I walk into a room: take a moment to set MY foundation.

Lovingly, and completely my own. And then live from there. YES!

    1. Hi Gail, we do have an app. 🙂 We have the Find What Feels Good app for our membership. You can find it in the App Store and Google Play Store.

  8. Thank you so much for making these videos freely available. This was my favourite one so far (until tomorrow!). Your generosity, humour and caring energy are inspirational.

  9. Doing this two years after the original “air” date…but these recordings are renewing my love of yoga! Thank you for making them available. How do I sign up for more?
