  1. I love this! A great stretch for my hamstrings and calfs after a few really active days. Even the slight tingling I got in my toes felt really good. Adriene, you're the best ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. Hi Adriene
My name is Sarah and im 28 years old. I live in Brooklyn and I work as teacher for children with Autism.
my sister first introduced me to your videos and I have to admit, I never knew yoga can be so enjoyable!! I especially benefited from how to encourage viewers to focus on "feeling" out the pose instead of forcing the body to look like the perfect pose, as so many other programs do! I was just wondering if you have your videos that are available for download?
    Thank you Adriene!

  3. I just ordered the 30 days of yoga, made my donation and turned to it on the app and no sound. What can I do to get sound? By the way, Adrienne is doing a great job with all of this . I can't wait to have 30 days of bliss! Help me to straighten this out. Thanks, c. Weaver

  5. Loved it I'm new to yoga but your videos make it so easy to start. I hope I will adapt yoga into my lifestyle for now on. Thanks

  6. Hi Adriene,

This is one of my favorite restorative postures! Always workin' on them tight hammies... For another foundations of yoga video/series, would you consider doing some basic backbend postures? I feel my practice is very weak in that area, and after doing forwards folds galore I'd like to learn some opposing postures to improve my spinal flexibility in the other direction. Much love.

  7. This is so what I need right now.
Caring for my dying mum at her home.
A special time together but really tiring on the feet, knees, hips and heart!
Doing this pose at the end of the day when I can to relieve those physical pains but good to restore my soul as well. Thank you!

    1. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Have you been practicing with your mum? i'm unsure as to what she can do, but just a breath practice while holding hands or quiet focused foot massage for her, she might give you one if shes able. especially as a caregiver for your mother, she sees your work and struggles, she may not be able to express her concern, but she does. Let her know your caring for yourself as well. We moms worry about our kids no matter what situation we may be in. She is lucky to have a daughter to care for her and one that obviously loves her. praying for you both! HUGZ!

  8. Hey Adrienne, thank you so much for your videos! You've been part of my life since I found you on YouTube! I was so desperate to begin practicing exercises again after my baby was born but I couldn't find time through my busy working mom days. That's when I found yoga and my life changed. I want you to know you're part of this change and I'm so greatful ๐Ÿ™‚

  9. I modify this as well in my passageway so I have enough room to do the splits....wonderful for the inside of my thighs....I play hockey so my inside thighs need care and strength and suppleness. thanks Adrianne

  11. I love this pose!! I have been doing this pose unaware that it is a healing yogic pose since childhood. I often do it when am stressed. It calms me immensely. Thanks for all you do! Your videos save me daily!

  12. I am 62 years old and have a fairly bad s-curve scoliosis. It causes quite a bit of lower back pain. I've always been a fairly active person & enjoy things like skiing, alpine and Nordic, swimming etc., but I've noticed lately that not only is my back stiffer, as I age, but the curvature pokes out more,& is more visible. Are there any exercises that.you can suggest that could help any of this?
    Thank you,
    Pam
