Core Power Wake Up

As we continue our journey to better ourselves and to be the best version of ourselves, we must do it mindfully and lovingly. 

Core Power Wake Up is a 23 minute yoga practice that will leave you feeling open and strong! WAKE UP and tone your abdominal wall while also tending to your connection to yourself.

Who said that core strengthening had to be a bummer, a pain or a struggle? Come into your own private little love cave, breath deep, and get centered and firm in your core.

  1. Morning Adriene. Wow 10k run hope it goes well for you. I love all your videos and thank you for making it so enjoyable and fun to practice yoga in my own home. Living in Ireland a lot of our days are dull and wet but turning on your videos lifts my day as it always is bright and sunny in Austin. Could you recommend any on-line courses as I would be interested in in learning more about all aspects of yoga. Thank you again and love to bengy!!!

  11. Just added a plough-pose I held for 5 breaths after rocking and before sitting and the feeling of warm love in my chore radiating around was just amazing and so comforting and so new of course ! Once again, a fantastic discovery journey through my body and mind: namasté.

  15. Ha! I woke up hearing the 10K and my first thought was "oh I'm glad I'm not out there". Never was a good runner, but I gave it a good run : )))) So, is there an April calendar? and if you can change how I am addressed from Cgillum to Cathie that would be awesome. I love you!

  19. HOLY CORE WORK OUT, BATMAN. I've always been too intimidated to go to yoga classes, but have always been so intrigued in practicing it. I am two and a half months into your videos and am actually feeling the buds of what might turn into strength!     This was exactly what I needed! So often your practices come at just the right time. I did the core yoga workout this morning and then went on 2 bike rides today! I infrequently ride a bike. I am going through a transition AND I am looking to stir things up -- so double whammy to the past and look out future =)

  22. It’s as if you read my mind Adriene. Today I am one week sober/dry/ sans alcohol! I wasn’t having wine for breakfast or sneaking whisky into my morning coffee, but I was drinking every night and for a variety of reasons decided that moderation wasn’t going to work for me, so I stopped completely. When your message dropped into my inbox today, it was exactly what I needed to start my second week of... the new me? my new life? my next chapter? I don’t know for sure, but Thankyou, you’re timing was perfect

  25. For the past 4 years I’ve walked 3 miles on my lunch break but I recently just opened my own home childcare program and sad to say I don’t get a daily lunch break... I was really missing my “me” time ( I still walk after hours but just not the same) then I found YOU and your 30 days challenge program! I do it daily when the children are napping!! Most days I am able to do 2 days at a time. So I do a lot of repeating days just to build up my strength ! Thank you so much for offering such an amazing program!!! I’m on day 18 ( but I’ve been doing it daily for 25 days). My arms actually have started to have clear definition of muscles , my legs are so toned, and my chubby middle is really starting to trim up!! I’m hooked and so thankful! I also just ❤️ your amazing fun personality!

    I did this core work out tonight in central Viictoria, Australia, where we are enjoying the transition from a very hot summer into a delightful milder autumn (warm days, cool nights). I love your weekly videos,this one was super challenging!!
    OMG, I don't think I've got much core strength but I will definitely be working on it. Very inspiring.

  28. Adriene you are just so awesome reminding all of us we can return to this practice. I enjoyed pushing myself here but I knew I might not be able to continue some exercises for as long as you can. (I have a cervical herniation so I cant over exert my rhomboid muscles or I pay for it a lot more than other people). But I plan on coming back to this one. I think it's a great growth marker video. I just adore spending my yoga time with you. I have been working through a very serious injury and my time with you has helped me with pain management and thinking positive as healing comes. Yoga is so great for teaching patience as well as awareness. Love love love, I'm sending it your way. So if you hear anything buzzing it's just those good vibrations!

  38. Hi Adrienne, I started doing a yoga class back in January this year and have loved every minute of it. A lady in the class said to try YouTube to add to my practice.... I then found you! I have been doing this core wake up for the past 2-3 months once a week and found I improve a little each time. I love my group class each week, but also feel in a little "group" here, as you speak as though there are a few of all watching at the same time. I have recommended you to family and friends now, your following is forever growing. Good luck in all you do. I will continue to grow into a yogi (I hope)
