Being kind to yourself creates a ripple effect…
What is one way you choose to be kind to yourself?
Day 24 is a restoring session all about mindfulness and bringing the body to a state in which you feel supported and chill.
Invite your mind to quiet and your nervous system to be calm.
This quick practice drops most of the poses to hone in on the idea that by merely showing up you are demonstrating a beautiful grand act of kindness.
A restorative day to help you find peace and feel good!
It may be hard to believe but practicing being kind to yourself can be a huge source of empowerment.
Kindness in your thoughts, your actions, the movement, the way you move, your gestures.
Trust that this time is valuable. Sometimes more valuable that a rigorous practice.
For just under 14 minutes today, allow the mind and body to be at ease.
Be kind.
Yours,
Adriene

Beautiful practice!!! But I missed Benji. Was he taking the day off too? Too much pressure being in front of the camera? : ))
Adriene, I have been following you for over 3 years, and this is my 3rd year of doing your 30 Day. I was a little skeptical at first...the whole "self love" thing when there is so much kindness needed in the world, everyday; when there is so much hatred and divisiveness...I know you know what I mean. But now I believe this is the most important series you have done yet. I am ready to tackle my day (I am an immigrant justice advocate), knowing that I have taken care of myself first. Adelante!
Strange JoAnn, I sometimes have the same thought before starting yoga about 'being kind to myself' in a suffering world. It sounds self centred. By the end of the session I always feel better and that strength and peace prepare us better to play our part.
The act of self-love is filling your cup so that you can replenish and in turn have more to offer others.
Thank you for being kind to all of us, Adriene, with this practice
Short and sweet
Namaste
I just started with Day 1 of the 30 Day Yoga Challenge. I would like to subscribe to it so I can get daily emails. Can I do that at this time or do I have to wait until the beginning of a month.
you can join at anytime! welcome!:D
Just what I needed today. I was tired and, apparently, my three-legged cat was too. For the first time, he joined me on the mat (and for the whole practice!), so I shared my kindness with him in the form of pets and scratches :0) Thanks Adriene!
Sweet <3
Thank you so much Adriene. I'm a builder at Yandina QLD Australia and I've been doing your yoga for probably a year now and it helps me a lot.
You are just a gem Adriene. And always have the best outfits.
Namaste X
Such a beautiful practice. An important message 'to be kind', something we all too often forget- both to others and most of all ourselves. A practice I shall repeat lots. Thank you.
I have to say, NAMASTE to you Adrian! Thank you for sharing your yoga practice with the world 🙂 You save my day. As a person who very easily stresses and keep tensions both in mind and body, you create a breathing space for me, every day. It's almost like a drug 😀 Thank you for infusing such peacefulness and positiv energy around the globe - keep it up!
wonderful . . .
I really needed... Thanks soooo much Adriene. This practice is all I needed in my life today. You are light!
