Yoga With Adriene VLOG (VIDEO BLOG) Q&A and puppy gets long awaited screen time! I'm checkin' in this week with some questions from YOU! Tips for setting intentions. How do you we keep the intentions we set? Tips for sticking with your practice and my take on how to stay on top of it.
Hi Adrienne,
I love your beginner yoga practice videos on you tube. I love yoga but have many challenges in a regular yoga class so have found your videos inspiring and I want to do yoga everyday. thank you again.
Just love you Adrienne! I am almost 60 and yoga is part of my daily routine. I love your video's...truly inspiring. Thanks for being a loving spirit! Kathetine
Thank you so much! I could listen to you all day Adriene, always inspiring. I do the bedtime yoga most nights (as well as the 30 day challenge, I'm v new to your site/channel), I really appreciate the gentle way in which you talk me/us through things. Good luck with everything x x
Thank you for reaching out to us! Thank for you being yourself it is so inspiring when sometimes I feel that being myself might scare others away, you inspire me to EMBRACE ME! and I love you for that! Thank you!!
This is great - thanks Adriene! I hope this will be a regular thing. SO happy since you've become part of my morning routine. Can't wait to see more of Benji the cutie pie pup....
Hey Adriene thanks so much for your letter and vlog today. I look forward to your updates. You have indeed challenged me to check in with myself. Boy if my thoughts became real life it would be a scary place. I have a over active mind ha ha
Really enjoyed your chat session. Your style is refreshingly open and inviting. You keep me coming back to yoga. Hope to see more Q&A in the future...
I actually just signed up for your emails even though I'm on day 22. I have never had an outside class. This has been my home practice. I am just a beginner. I do hope there is something more to come after my 30 days is complete. If not I probably will be repeating the whole 30 days just for consistency and practice.
Thank you for all you do and share!! It has been a blessing for me. I have been on medication for anxiety and panic attack for the last 8 months. Since I've been on the mat and eating healthy plus reading non stop in the elephant journal (along with other helpful meditation info) I have been able to control my anxiety without medication.
Thank you!

I luv your videos
I am on Day 22 SECOND TIME AROUND with 30 Days of Yoga with Adrienne. This daily practice has changed my life in that I have managed to do yoga with you almost every day for two months... I am feeling so much better physically...particularly my lower back and my knees. More importantly, I feel much more solid when I'm riding my horse...that difference has been remarkable. I was doing some yoga asanas before...but not every day and not strung together. I'm not sure what the next step will be for me or if I will keep going through the 30 days. Because I am a university professor and have a private psychotherapy practice and travel an hour 4x week to ride my horse, I don't have time to go to a studio (which I have done in my past) and truly I am enjoying this home practice.
You are wonderful Adriene...Thanks for sharing yourself with all of us. ๐ You make our lives better. ๐
I have truly been blessed by yoga. Thank you for your wonderful videos that encourage me. Yoga has now become one of my favorite ways to calm my whole self.
Thank you bunches

Adriene, you are so awesome! You teach so beautifully and naturally. I look forward to my daily yoga practice with you. This is my second 30 day challenge. I'm doing it to help me get into yoga practice and at the moment it's what I enjoy most.
Big hug with enormous gratitude!
Love your videos and style Adriene, so glad I found you on You Tube - I'd searched for a while for an online yoga teacher and when I saw and heard you I thought 'YES!". I resonate with what you say - especially "go to the movie and eat the pizza"!! And most importantly "be yourself" - and you certainly do that. I love the freedom in yoga/life you advocate and your expression of what 'yoga' really is. I'm going back to your beginner's videos now which I adore. I am also going to do the ones focussing on individual asanas. See you on the mat!
Adriene.. Your videos are simply amazing. I have been practicing Hatha yoga and Vinayasa yoga for the past five years. I attended yoga classes at least 5 days a week. I follow your sessions when at home. I am just passionate about my yoga practice . I love the inner peace I experience on practicing yoga. Thanks again for everything.
Hi , thank u so much for ur care. Every morning I use to do yoga. Best of luck god bless u...
Adriene, thank you for the update. I look forward to my practice this summer. Your programs are manageable within a busy life style and commitments.
I have practiced yoga for many years, and I feel really inspired by you, Adrienne! Your sincerity and authenticity is refreshing. I very much enjoyed enjoyed the 30-day challenge . I appreciate this V-blog because generally one does not get to ask yoga teachers questions. Thank you for creating opportunities for reflection. My commitment to yoga feels less rigid because of you, and I thank you for this freedom.
Hey puppy, ditch that Adriene. She is hogging the camera and we all know you are the real star.
You're a one-off, Adriene, a truly wonderful one-off! You touch my heart with yours, and with your enthusiasm, honesty, and sense of fun. By checking in with you, I want to practise yoga every day. What greater gift? The gods marked you out for something special.
Adriene, you rock. I just love how you keep yoga real for us younger, modern seekers. When I become overwhelmed by changes in myself as a result of my personal awakening, and fear losing touch with the "fun" side of myself, you remind me how I can still be same ol' "fun" me, just with more intention as opposed to haphazard behaviours. Keep doing what you're doing! I'm in New Zealand and appreciate you being online and allowing us to access your fun wisdom from so far away. Namaste!!
xoxo

I love your goofy self!!!
Adriene I seriously have a problem!
I am addicted to you videos, seriously one video is never enough.
I get in from work and the first thing I do after I have fed my dog is get the mat out and pic 3 or 4 videos to do. I have been using my mat ALOT, Since I have been doing the 30 day challenge it is now starting to disintegrate! Ok so It wasn't an expensive one, it came in a set with a Swiss ball and Therapy bands so the cheap non branded kind. I live in Thailand so whether it is a relax session or a strong flow session all my yoga is hot and sweaty ๐
Are there any brands you recommend durable and Eco friendly mats? And towels?
Love what you do, your energy and humour and find what feels good mantra is what keeps me addicted, I have lost nearly 5 inches from my waist in 3 weeks!
Love you and the dogs, keeps em coming
Sonwan
It's so funny that by daily "meeting" you on the screen (I'm on day 5 of 30days, yeay!) it's almot like you're becoming a real friend! Thanks so much for your loving and open-hearted words, thoughts and deeds!
Thank you Adriene, for all you do. You always put a smile on my face. You are currently helping me go through a very challenging point in my life. I don't know how I'd make it without your inspiration. I look forward to June's fitness challenge!!! Thank you thank you thank youโค๏ธ
Hi Adriene,
Can you please do a forearm stand tutorial???
Thanks!
This vlog made me really happy, calm and motivated - so thank you!
I was wondering if you, or maybe someone else reading this, had some tips on good "yoga-books" that can help to get more mindful and inspired? Or just a good book in general as well I guess! ๐
Hi Adriene,
First, I want to thank you for your inspiring words and empowering videos. I recently finished the 30 Days of Yoga sequence but have continued to practice daily. I find myself repeatedly returning to the Day 30 video as I found it particularly powerful and moving. Sometimes I follow along with you and sometimes I do my own thing, but the playlist is so captivating that I find myself completely consumed by the present moment. Could you share the song titles or recommend some similar music for yoga practice? Thank you for everything! I feel so wonderful after 30+ straight days of practice. ๐
You're so wonderful, Adriene. I wish I lived in TX so that I could be your friend, and drink margaritas with you. You're extremely inspiring to me, and as a yogi beginner, when I found your Youtube channel, I was so thrilled and this Vlog is like the icing on the cake. Thank you for your kind heart, and your sense of humor. I look forward to more videos with you, and Benji of course.
With gratitude, Carissa
Hi,
I am a subscriber to 30 days of Yoga. I have arthritis in my hands and fingers. Most of the time it is difficult for me to bare weight on my hands. Any suggestions on how reduce stress on joints in my hands and fingers ?
Thanks,
Virginia
Since you mentioned you wanted to focus on fitness for June I have a question... Can you actually loose weight with Yoga?

I've been thinking a lot about the request for feedback email. I just wanted to say thank you again for your energy and commitment. The whole practice has helped me tremendously reconnect with myself and those around me over the past year. Not only in terms of rejuvenating my love for challenging my body through fitness (yes, practicing yoga gave me confidence to begin running and cycling again), but also introducing myself to the mindfulness. I've learned to pay attention to my heart so much more, and really it's started with the yoga videos and listening to my Breath. You have definitely demystified the yoga practice, and given me confidence (and since my partner, cousin, and mother-in-law) to listen to our whole selves. It's interesting how the act of committing to practicing mindful breathing can slowly manifest itself in mindfulness in our lives. I remember in college folks talked about "doing yoga" and I felt very distant from the practice. Perhaps I am in a different point in my life, or more openness, but regardless I'm thankful to be able to practice yoga both with others, through your videos, and all by ma'self. Also, there are days, heck even times I am cooking or writing that I just find some length, because it feels good. Thank you (all! the team!) so much for your work! Abrazo.
Hi, Adriene. I'm wondering if there are yoga stretches or just stretches to incorporate into a practice or after that will help increase flexibility. I'm thinking mainly ways to work up to the splits. I've been doing your videos for a few months and I'm definitely stronger and more flexible and toning up. Thank you, your videos are great!
Hi Adrienne!
Firstly, thanks for the inspiring videos...I love getting up in the morning and starting my day with you...gets me going to work on my own practice after. I love your friendly style.
Can I ask about your microphone? What sort is it...and where are you hiding the transmitter?
Thanks again x
Hi Adriene! I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE your videos! I am on day 4 of the 30 Days of Yoga challenge. I also do another video of yours each day, too (I can't get enough!). I started doing yoga last year when I was pregnant with my son and I have since become extremely passionate about yoga. I have done some other yoga videos on YouTube but have found they are sooo serious and stuffy which is why I love your videos! Your videos are super fun and not too serious! I wake up so excited everyday to do yoga with you and just want to thank you for doing what you do!! You have a special place in my heart! Thank you thank you thank you! Love from Salt Lake City ๐
Hey Adriene, Can you consider creating a vlog sometime about dietโyour ideas about eating well and how to find a good balance in that. In particular...how to battle a huge sweet tooth. ๐ Thanks!! You're awesome!!!!
hey Adriene,
I have no idea if you'll ever read this but i just want to let you know the impact you've had on my life.
I'm 20 years old and was a heavy IV drugs user for 8 years before cleaning up my life almost 3 years ago. when I first got clean I felt totally healthy & zen but after awhile that faded and I just got into a routine of isolating myself which in turn began to make me a very angry and unhappy person . until I went online and came across your 30 days of yoga challenge and it changed my life. it has reignited a desire to be a healthy, patient & loving person. I'm a self employed beautician & artist and it has made my business blossom in ways I could never have imagined . you are my inspiration & you are making a difference. I love you and I pray you continue to shine your beautiful light across the world because you are capable of extraordinary things โค๏ธ God bless ,

Hi Adriene!! I hope you are doing great and having a well deserved rest! Take care and heal soon!! I wanted to make you a question, and I wasn't sure where I could ask you, so I chose this post to write it. I hope you can see it!!
The thing is that I'm a runner (not that I like calling me that: maybe runner-wannabe? :D), and recently I got injured. In concrete, I injured the tendon of the posterior part of the knee. Now I'm starting to reconsider my way of life, and how I was preparing my body before a run. I always stretch before running... And I've been reading that actually that can be a problem because stretching muscles before a run is not a good idea. But, somehow I'm a bit reluctant to that idea. I don't know what it right and how to treat my muscles before a run... I know your video before a run, and I was doing that video the whole time. I'm not sure what the problem was. What are your thoughts about it? I hope you can read this message and help me sometime. I really want to hear your ideas related to this, and your advice.
I wish you a fast recovery and have a lovely day!! As always, thank you for everything!!! You are really amazing!!
Does this (see: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2N9cXQSyA6A) ever happen to you when recording your videos?
Hey!
I am on day 12 of your 30 day challenge and I'm loving it! You are so inspiring and easy going and fun! I was unable to watch this vlog...my phone is being rebellious today. I have a question and if this isn't the place for this, please direct me to where I need to be for future references. I have recti diastasis (separated abs) from having 2 big babies. What poses should I avoid to prevent further damage to them? Do you recommend any exercises to help bring them back together?
Thank you in advance for your help!
Kari
Hello Adriene,
I am new to yoga. Which is a comment I am sure you get every day. I am enjoying the beginners yoga as well as the videos you have that focus on the different positions.
Being new I am very tight and my body currently is full of stress and hurts all over. My hope is that doing yoga will help to reduce my stress, loosen my body and eliminate the pain I feel.
My question would be what would suggest next after doing the beginners for a couple of weeks.
Thanks so much. I am so glad that I found your station on YouTube.
Beth
Hello Adriene! I want to thank you first for your amazing workouts, inspirational quotes and fun tips that you always share. This time i need some help as I am having a recurrent pain in my arm joints, like inaide the elbow, mostly when the routine involves a lot of planks. Do you know any type of exercise or any recommendations to help to relieve this pain?
Since starting my weight loss journey I've lost 15 pounds ๐ yay ๐ I have started now to do yoga everyday with Adriene and love it! Thank you very much ๐ I do have some problems (ok alot of probs) with balance, I will keep on trying, plus I can't sit on my legs very long as I have a sore knee, but will continue on! I love yoga! Thank you!
Hi Adriene!
I just started your 30 day challenge and I LOVE IT! I've done yoga here and there over the years and could never find any videos I liked or could keep my interest! I love your soothing voice and you mix just the right amount of fun into each video. You seem to really be yourself. It makes it such a pleasurable experience for those of us practicing at home!
I think I'm addicted! I've been doing three videos a day! ๐ my husband just laughs when I ask if he wants to try!
Thanks for making such a great collection of videos for us!!
Love your classes! I just started your 30 day challenge. Thanks for making them!
Hi Adriene
Thank you soo much for this idea, your style is unique and fits me perfect. I have a little issue though. Since I am a beginner I started with your beginner videos and now want to do the 30 Day challenge but had to interrupt the practice in the middle of Day 2. I couldn't keep going with the poses, to heavy for me. Couldnt "Find what felt good" there( totally looove this mantra). What sequence of videos should I do before the challenge? Any advice? Can a complete beginner do the challenge?
Greetings from Colombia. South America!
Cristal
Hi Adriene!
Thank you soo soo much for this idea! Your style fits me perfect. Since I am a beginner I started with your beginner videos and now I want to move on to your 30 Day challange, but I have an issue though. I had to interrupt the practice in the middle of Day 2 :(, too fast and too heavy for me. Is there any other sequence I can follow to start with before the challenge? Any advice? Is the 30 Day challenge for beginners??
Best wishes!!
I just had to say you and your videos are so awesome! As soon as I did the first video I was addicted! Every morning I do at leat to videos and 1 or 2 at night. I have tried yogo before never really got into it, but the way you teachieve and you attitude and personality make it so fun! I'm hitting that mat with you so much that I almost feel like we are friends, super corny I know! Thanks again!
I love the idea of writing my intention for the day as part of my to-do list. Everything else that I think is important goes there! Thank you Adriene!!!
You make the world a better place... Thank you for sharing all these rocking videos with us, Adriene!
This for new yoga tips! My problem is loss of balance when going from low lunge to high lunge while raising hands from mat. I cannot keep my balance and therefore fall or wobble a lot. Any pointers?
I love you and am deeply grateful for your generous YouTube videos! So kind!
Would you please post a video of Benji sleeping? That would be a good downward dog video.
New to your yoga channel Adriene, doing the 30 days and day 6 killed me. I think the love you show for Benji and your funnies are what makes it for me. Love you, Jay from the UK.
