Yoga for Social Anxiety

This practice is a response to the huge request for Yoga For Social Anxiety. Use this impactful and gentle 20 minute session to hit the reset button and/or re-fill your self care cup whenever you need it.

This type of practice allows us to be disciplined about being present in the moment. Instead of wrestling with the past or tangling our thoughts in the unknown details of the future, roll out the mat and reset.

When our awareness is grounded in the present, we are more likely to increase energy and feelings of well being and reduce stress response. Aka - anxiety.

Unlock that inner wisdom. Trust that you have everything you need.

  4. Even if Adriene does not see this comment, I still want to give a BIG thanks for all that you do. I started practicing Yoga several months ago because my daughter in law was training to become a yoga teacher. She insisted that yoga would benefit me many ways so I started to give her support. I knew that yoga would be great for me physically, but I did not grasp the depth of the power yoga has to improve the mental state and bring about self-confidence and inner strength.

I'm on day 27 of the 30-day journey and I must share the breakthrough that has happened in my life. I was struggling with balance. After the practice focusing on balance I was frustrated. I went to bed feeling that I would need to work long and hard to regain my balance. Well, when I woke up the next morning, I just tried to stand on one foot and lift my other knee. I didn't topple over. I was perfectly balanced and held the pose for a long time. I switched to the other leg and balanced again with no trouble. This was a major turning point, a true A HA. I got it and It feels great. Gaining perfect balance didn't take weeks of practice, just a little focus and mindset adjustment. I'm so thankful and I know this is a good sign that everything will be okay if I just keep doing yoga daily.

Thanks to Ashley and Adriene, I'm all in and will be a yogi forever. We are going to follow your lead and spread yoga love through Ashley's teaching and my yoga graphic art posters to help other yoga teachers promote their yoga studios and home practice.

  5. This was one of the most soulfull and meaningfull practices I've attended for a long time. When you said " You have what you need to survive.", I realised that's something I've been struggling with subconsciously and actually felt tears in my eyes. Thank you so much for this! Namaste .

  6. Hi Adriene, I love your yoga videos, they have changed my life! Thank you. I wanted to flag to you that today I rolled out my mat to do Yoga for neck etc from 3 weeks ago and the pre-video advert on YouTube is forcosmetic surgery. Mostly just showing women with large enhancedbreats. I don’t think this is a healthy message to watch or in keeping with your message to love our bodies and I wanted to bring it to your attention. Keep up the amazing work!!

    1. Hi Caroline, unfortunately we aren't able to control the ads that play before the videos. Thank you for bring this to our attention though. And thank you for sharing your practice with Adriene and all of us around the world! 🙂

    2. Hi! Don't know if this might help but if you go to the yogawithadriene.com website instead of You Tube, you might be able to avoid the commercials. I have the website saved to my favorites and don't get the ads. 🙂

  7. Adriene, I want to express my deepest gratitude for your generosity by posting free yoga videos, you have no idea how much that means to me.

Currently I need to do a little more exercise and learn to relax, and your videos are very helpful. Due to financial problems I can not afford to attend yoga classes or pay for video or classes online.

When my financial situation improves, I will acquire a membership to your yoga program since I think your videos are worth it and you deserve joy, happiness, lots of love and financial abundance because you are a kind soul.

May the Supreme Soul of the universe bless you!

  8. I really struggle getting into the "froggie" position. Are there any modifications? It's taken almost a year to be able to get into child's pose comfortably. I am older (59) and have troublesome knees.

  9. Hello, Adriene! I'm so grateful for you!! I just finished "Dedicate" over the weekend (it took me a little longer...but I enjoyed it so much!) My sister introduced me to your "30 Days" series a few years ago, and I've loved the concept of working daily toward a goal, with intent, increasing awareness of breath, body and soul, and striving to integrate them into everything! I also loved "True"...and many of the 30 days yoga journeys! Just started an older yoga camp yesterday...can't wait to get on the mat later today!
You are the best yoga teacher I've ever had!
Also, we love Benji!!! (My daughters love doggies!!)
Thank you for all you do for me, and for all of your students and fans!

  15. Adriene,
Thank you. If you didn’t make these videos, I don’t know how I would have gotten through the hard times I’ve been through in the last few years. I am deeply, deeply grateful to you for the love and wisdom that you put out into the world. Please know what an impact you’ve had on my life and many others.
