Yoga for Risk Takers

Yoga for Risk Takers. Join me, I dare you! This 26 min session is all about expanding and grounding in honor of promoting courage and balance so that we are better prepared to take risks and “go for the gold.”

Move some energy and step out of your own way to reset and focus on what matters most. This session invites you to work from an honest foundation, physically and mentally, for everything we are building up to, both in our yoga practice and in life.

It takes bravery to expand and take risks, your yoga mat has your back. And I do too!

Let me know how it goes for you in the comment section down below!

Namaste.

  6. Cool, Calm, and Collected. Why do yoga poses have the names that they do? What is the significance of uttering the original names? I enjoy hearing them. What is the history of each pose name?

  7. This was really fun Adriene! I loved how you encouraged parents to do it with kids. Also, thanks for the reminder to be kind to yourself. I have started to use the phrase "do what feels good" in daily life. Thanks for introducing me to that. You are greaaat.

  8. Hi Adriene
I have been practising with your yoga for beginners videos for a few months now. I decided to take a shot at following the calendar this month. Giving it my best and really enjoyed yesterday and today. It made me think how great some yoga stretches etc would have been a few years ago when I was the main carer ( I think in the US you say care giver) for my dad who had dementia. Is there anything in the videos that you can recommend to pass on to folks who are still caring for someone who rely on them? It would have to be pretty short and maybe even not needing to change clothes etc. Snitching a minute or two for yourself is really hard at those times but I feel I could have benefitted greatly from a few minutes of focused movement, stillness and just hearing someone say ‘I got your back’
    Love and gratitude

  9. this is the closest I've gotten to perching in crow. I am proud that I gave it my best shot and it was better than yesterday's best shot. love it.
