12 Min Yoga for Brain Power!

With the growing popularity of yoga practices in the West, it can be pretty easy to overlook the incredible benefits that regular yoga practice can have, not just on your body, but on your brain too!

In an effort to soak up all the benefits of yoga for your brain, I believe it really is more important that you are able to practice regularly by doing what you can, when you can, rather than knocking out a 90 min sweat or sculpt weekly. A little truly goes a long way.

So, roll out your mat and use this 12 minute rejuvenating yoga break for an instant cognitive boost. This flow is great for increasing fresh blood and oxygen to your beautiful brain. With an emphasis on awareness and centering, this yoga practice helps to stimulate blood flow to the brain, relax the mind, increase focus and improve memory.

  2. I have a brand new baby grandson so I really thought this subject was for me! I wonder how cold it is in Texas? We have already had minus 25 windchill in North Bay!

    I am trying to my body for a future pregnancy, so the repetition of the word baby seemed like hiting so me lol. It came at the right time, because I do not only need to think of building a stronger body and mind for myself, but also for the future renter. Thank you for your lovely videos and messages.

  4. Good morning--I have now been practicing yoga with you, Adriene, for a full year. I join you on the mat at least 6 days a week, and now I can't imagine my life without this at-home practice. I just want to thank you for the difference you've made in my life. I am stronger and more trim physically, of course, but also have a much better balance of mind, body, and spirit. Thank you for encouraging uus all to find what feels good. YWA is it for me.

    1. It really is! My cat, Olive, joins me most mornings. It's the best when I get to finial meditation pose sitting up right and she crawls right in my lap. Animals are the best. ๐Ÿ™‚
