Upper Back Love

Upper Back Love was designed specifically for the upper back using yoga asana to counteract the effects of daily life (like hunching over your computer) that contribute to upper back aches, pain, and tightness. When I returned to Victoria, British Columbia after a blessedly long sojourn by the Sea of Cortes, no mat space was left in my preferred weekly yoga session at the delightful Iyengar Yoga Centre here. Worse, after unpacking the car and my luggage, I spent two days restoring the looks of my garden with more pulling, bending and lifting than I had done for months, so most of my muscles were begging for asanas. Your "lower back body" sequence awaits, but I'm sending heartfelt thanks, Adriene, for demonstrating an upper back body sequence that has put my mind back in gentle communication with my limbs, breath and core. I gratefully credit Susan Campbell in Nopolo, Baja California, for alerting me to your yoga leadership and the well crafted, beautiful looking videos that capture it.

  12. I often experience upper back pain. This video has given me more relief, more quickly then anything else I’ve ever tried. When I notice back pain beginning I can do throw video and it allows me to tend to my bodies need so that I can quickly get back to be able to tend to my family and do my every day tasks pain free.   15. I've been remiss. Adriene, I don't thank you often enough. What you have done and are doing is SO VERY VALUABLE for so many people. I joined you in 2015 and have sung your praises ever since. I joined FWFG once, but prefer the YouTube videos. My story: I began doing yoga with a book called "Yoga for Women" in 1967. I'll be 70 this year, a retired physician. I've done yoga in many settings since 1967 and promoted it to my patients throughout my practice. I find your sessions "fit" best for me.
