  1. Ermigersh...
Pulled the death card first thing this morning. Rebirth. New cycle. Beginning again.
You often spook me with synchronicity Adriene. Finally paid my yoga alliance registration. I finished ryt200 over a year ago. And I havent felt like a real teacher til now lol.
Thanks for helping me stay fresh. We've never met but you've been there for the whole journey man.

  2. Loved this video and your little note. You have such a gift of being so genuine and accessible. I hope you know you are making a big difference in this world by reaching out to people like me every day. Keep up the great work!

  3. I love your yoga videos. Is it normal for the rib cage to ache a little when learning to do the deep breathing through the nose? I think it might be my body just getting used to a deep breath rather than a shallow breath.

  4. Dear Adriene
I felt so lazy since a few days...till I read your feel your cup email So I went to the map and started again Many thanks for sharing your so gentle and fantastic energy and generosity 🙂

    1. Thank you so much Adrienne. You’re a beautiful person and I love doing your yoga classes in the morning. Keep shining!

  5. Hi. I am in so much pain. I have Lyme Disease. This comes with full body inflammation, upper back pain (between shoulder blades), digestive issues, insomnia, chronic fatigue, etc.

I'm hoping for a video with just super deep stretches... as deep as they can be... minus any strength exercises like downward dog - which lead to more inflammation in people with true fibromyalgia (chronic inflammation).

Maybe 30-45 minutes of non-stop stretching and massaging and stretching and stretching. lol.

    Yoga for Fibromyalgia
    or Yoga for Inflammation

I feel like some stretchy stretches are good for suggestion too, right?

Lyme Disease also comes with depression & anxiety, so I do have those videos of yours. But suicide is the #1 leading cause of Lyme-related deaths.

So maybe breathing in the belief that we will find relief and letting go of our attachment to self-pity. Especially for those of us who are on SS Disability & cannot work...

It's rough being able-bodied, in a sense, with all our limbs & senses, but being in too much pain to live a normal life.

When my pain is the worst, I'm in need of constant stretching all day long, non-stop. I feel relief only while stretching. The very moment I stop, though, the pain is still there.

It takes time, sometimes months, to feel better. But deep stretches makes it more bearable.

I sometimes like to do all kinds of variations of forward folds, too. Like, my arms are outstretched and I'm basically swimming away from myself in every direction.

I just would love a video like this from you, if you ever feel inspired to make one. Thank you for existing and choosing this life. You're changing the world & saving the world just by being you & doing what you do. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

    1. KT,

I also have Lyme Disease and would love a practice by Adriene to ease up symptoms. Good luck to you in your journey back to health!

  6. Adrienne, I discovered your videos just recently, and this last week, I had 'chronic', horrible neck and headaches, every day... yesterday, I thought about your videos and decided to do your 'yoga for headaches', 'yoga for migraines' and 'text neck relief' exercises. They relieved my headaches twice yesterday, and this morning, I did the first in this 30 day September challenge. Anyway... I am feeling great today ! Thank you so much for your videos, your style, your compassion. This practice, I think, is going to change my life. Bless you !

  7. I started your videos in May and have really enjoyed a daily practice. I teach at a college and I only missed one day so far heading back to crazy. Thank you for this - after the first week of classes I really needed my cup refilled!

  8. I would love to sign up but I am hearing impaired and the videos that come with th membership don't have subtitles. They are not hearing accessible for me.

  9. Loved it! I feel so energized and open minded right now. Thank you so much and sending hugs all the way from northern Germany!

  10. This email has come at the perfect time for me. We just got back from the children's hospital two states away. My daughter has to have surgery on her left leg every few years and it is always with very little notice due to waiting for a viable donor. All of my attention is on her for the first few weeks and I always start dragging towards the end. This challenge with help me stay on top of things and feeling good. Thank you!

  19. Thank you Adriene. I have been working very hard at work this summer,it's been busier than ever this year. I stacked wood this weekend and really needed this session. LOTS OF LOVE!

  20. Thanks Adriene! Beginning again is a really powerful intention and I so appreciate you reminding me of this. I am returning to yoga after a long time, and recovering from injury. I’m really happy to begin with the small things - the way I began my practice over 15 years ago. Little things have big effects. ‘Smallness tames.” Thanks for all you share and so.

  21. My first ever Yoga with Adriene session and I am in LOVE! Thank you, I can't wait for the next one.
    xox

  22. What a great way to start the day by filling our cup! You are truly inspiring Adriene and its obvious from all the comments you are receiving, the difference you are making to people's lives. How awesome is that! Many thanks for all your hard work.

  23. Thank you so much for the generosity and creativity and the gentle presence. This, as always, was a beautiful restorative work out for my body and soul. Thank you

  24. Adriene, you're my absolute favorite teacher, leader really, as I learn yoga.
I've downloaded some of your downloadable courses.
I'm considering downloading another course to add to the 30 days of Yoga I'm already doing.
When I look at the page with the different courses, trying which would most fit my needs there's no description. For example, I'd like to do a lot of back strengthening poses. (Laminectomy with cages and fusion in L3 4 & L5 in June 2019). Also, my ankles are weak. So my balance sucks. LoL.
Please consider adding a description of the entire course on the page with all the courses.

    Thank you!
    Diane M.

  25. Dear Adriene,

Thank you so much for writing and speaking about your experiences with balancing everything you are working to accomplish. Your words resonated deeply with me. In the small amount of down time one may get, I feel an overwhelming feeling too. Your practices and words and thoughts help me find some peace and balance through these busy times. Thank you for all the good work you do. Namaste.

    With Love!

    -Sam

  27. Thank you, Adriene!

My husband and I and our dog, Chaka, are full-time RVers. You videos are a lifesaver to me. I breathe and stretch with you and Benji almost every day! Unfortunately, as soon as I get my yoga mat out Chaka hides under the table. LOL.

  28. Amazing video! Love it, I feel so much energy and strenght. Great for starting the day. Thank you so much. Love from Chile!

  29. Great Yoga videos. You have made my self isolation not only bearable but also a challenge. I meet you every day from my mat. Thank you so much, Adrienne.

  32. Thank you for this. I appreciate your comments at the end that the people around us will benefit from the yoga that we do. I am learning that I have an impact on people even when I don't think I am making a difference. That is helpful. Have a great day!
