Thank you so much for your program. I have been doing YWA just over two years. I have done other programs prior to YWA and found it such an effort and not much fun. Now that I know you have my back I have practiced with you everyday for just under a year. The practice is fun, I look forward to each day and I feel better just having you in my life. Many thanks.

Thank you for making Yoga accessible, fun and ‘possible’. Having looked at many instructors on line you are the only teacher I consistently come back to for home practice. Thank you, a lovely young woman, inside and out. This comes from across the water in Dorset, England.

You are refreshment and inspiration for my soul. I have my library of favorite sessions that I look forward to practicing when I need self care and energy. I look forward to your emails on Sundays with another new Yoga class. I love your background narrative and I love the practice. You are a gem. Thank you for bringing Yoga into my life.

Thanks for your help. I’m 68 years old and your 31 minute practice for back pain has helped me quite a bit. Less pain, more mobility and a brighter future!

Hello from England,
I have been doing yoga with you for 6 months and achieved the committment with you that I have not been able to maintain in the past.
Thank you Adriene, I take you with me all over the world, you have made me slow down and reconnect with my body, which I found so hard to do recently.
Also, my husband has back issues and just by doing a week of classes gave him back half an inch in height…
I tell everyone about you….

Adriene, I have been dong Yoga for 4 years. I enjoy doing Yoga with you, you’re funny and easy to be with. I have a herniated disc and your yoga has definitely helped. I join you probably 4-5 times a week.

Jennifer, we are compiling a list of the videos that Adriene has already created that don’t require putting the head upside down for those that have vertigo or glaucoma. This playlist will be available soon under the Playlist section of the Yoga with Adriene YouTube channel. 🙂

Glaucoma and other eye problems also require modifying poses like downdog and full forward bends. It would be great to get your take on eye and vision issues.

Adriene, I want to thank you. My Dr’s (all billion specialists I have) and I are trying to find a proper set of diagnoses (I’m a difficult case, but it’s looking like auto-immune something) anywho I randomly started doing yoga with you and come to find one of my other favorite people also utilizes your videos so we’re going to start doing it together. And it does help my body to not feel so stiff, ached, and pained. Thank you.

Just wanted to thank you for your wonderful videos. I love your energy, your humor, and your compassionate and loving approach. The variety of options means there’s something for every age and stage, mood and need. Sending you much appreciation and admiration!
OH!! and, can you tell me what brand your yoga mat is??? I have wasted so much $$ on mats i thought would be great but aren’t… one was toxic and too small…the next was non-toxic and somewhat larger but still to small as well as being too thick (which i had thought would be a good thing but not so much…and though my feet grip my hands are always slipping!)…any suggestions/advise would be very much appreciated.

I started almost a month ago. I’m 65 years old retired that worked sit for 48. I went to doctors for neck shoulders and low back pain and despite I have little hernias in 3 small hernias in the lower back. No treatment was giving and they said I suppose to live in some pain.
Pain killers for almost 20 years, and I was atending t o the gym eventually.
I am in the 28 day of the 30 sections and I’m felling release. Every day and to the section, for low back pain and neck and shoulders
Sometimes my back and is still hurting me.
My question: I am doing too much for my age? Do I have to do it every day? What I have to do after the 30 days program? When I am in pain I should to do the yoga?
Than you for be there for us. You are really amazing
I am healthy person

i have worked with your videos since at least 2014. my practice isn’t very regular, and occasionally it feels like i do it “just to stretch” or “loosen up,” usually it’s to connect to my body, and more and more, it’s to address specific areas of pain. i have a lot of shoulder/neck/upper back pain that has been severe enough to miss work and other events. i recently realized that i could be holding much of it due to problems surrounding anger – anger that i have experienced from others, that i have put onto others, and that i have held onto. i practised with your video for neck and shoulder relief, and you allow at the end some time for acknowledging release. i had in mind all of the anger and rage feelings i have stored in my body, and after this slow but deep practice, i found myself crying at the release. i have carried so much of this, and the possibility of letting it go did not seem possible to me. you have given me a lot of hope for healing in my body, mind, and spirit. thank you deeply. i will look into all of your posts about this sort of tension, and hope it is something you might focus on specifically if you haven’t already. namaste.

Hi Adriene. I am a 35 year old social worker. Working in this field is emotionally draining. A couple years ago I was working a job that was causing tension and anxiety. I was crying all the time and couldn’t sleep. That is when I found you as I was looking for ways to cope until I found another job.
I always felt like yoga was only for a certain type of person, but your easy going humor and easy to follow instructions made sense to me. I noticed when I was dealing with difficult situations, the deep breathing kicked in and helped me remain calm.
I continued casually with yoga until recently, I signed on to your 30 day yoga series. I am currently at day 26. No, I haven’t done it every day, but have kicked it up a notch to about 5 days a week. I’ve had sciatic and disc problems since I was 22 and knee pain caused by the tight muscles around my sciatic nerve.
Guess what? The sciatic pain is nearly gone. The knee pain, mostly gone. I am feeling stronger, more energetic and able to get to and hold poses I couldn’t before. I sing the praises of yoga wherever I go. I now work with traumatized teens and often share with them the power of how yoga gave me a coping mechanism.
I cannot thank you enough for the amazing work you do with me and thousands of others.
