  1. Good morning, Adriene. Thank you so much for sharing your love of yoga with all of us. I want to share how it has helped me. I just turned 49 this month. This past Thanksgiving, I decided to take up yoga - something I have always wanted to try but found various excuses not to. I tried several different videos by different instructors, but your kindness, gentleness, and respect for organic movement and breaking the rules drew me to you.

I adore working in my yard, but whenever I did, my lower back would become filled with such pain, that it would take me a couple of weeks to heal before I could venture back outside again. This filled me with great sadness. The good news: I have consistently been practicing with you for about two months - beginning with Yoga for Lower Back Pain and progressing into your 30 Days of Yoga practice. I worked in my yard both Saturday AND Sunday of this past week, and I feel healthy and strong!!! There is no more lower back pain!! I am convinced that practicing yoga is one key to bringing about and maintaining physical health. I will bring this practice with me on into my older years where I see myself as healthy, fit, and strong. Peace and blessings to you, my dear. And Thank you. <3

    1. I totally agree - I waited a little longer - I'm 57 - love gardening and had the same issues. I've been doing the yoga about 6 weeks now and feeling better and stronger every day. I feel blessed to have found Adriene and her videos.

  2. Dear Adriene,
Just wanted to let you know that I love love love your videos! The 30-day challenge helps me to get through this month, because my school just ended and I don't have a job yet.
Every morning when I wake up, I'll check your channel to see what yummy goodies you uploaded. I really like your teaching ways and sometimes I can even predict what's coming next.
Anyways, thank you so much for inspiring me. I definitely will continue this ritual and do more yoga in the upcoming months, feels like giving myself a big hug everyday.

  3. I want you to do 365 Days of Yoga!!! What am I going to do without you after the 30th Day is done!!??!!

I must make adjustments for my body, and back off of some moves for my pain while working on healing, but I am loving each day, and thank you.

  4. Hey adriene love your style!! Find myself smiling quite often during your vids cause of your awesome sense of humour!! So thank-you for guiding me along my 100 day yoga challenge, I learn something new everyday!! Just wondering if you could post a video focusing on balance? Thanks see you in the mat!!! Namaste.

  5. I sit on my mat, I read your email, I connect to my breath and my Intention, I do the practice and at the end I see how I feel and what comes to mind, I write on my calendar ...
Today Amelie came to my mind:

"Amelie has a strange feeling of absolute harmony.
    It's a perfect moment.
    Soft light ...
    a scent in the air,
the quiet murmur of the city.
    She breathes deeply.
    Life is simple and clear.
A surge of love, an urge to help mankind comes over her."

I am only at day 5 (could not start before, sorry!), but I am enjoying every moment of it, loving every second of it, benefiting from every instant of it ...

I am overjoyed with Gratitude to the core! Thank you from my Heart, dearest Adriene!
May all the good you bring to us come back to you as a rain of blessings and fulfillment of all your aspirations!

  6. When I started this journey I found downward dog a strain and it was a hard pose to relax in. Now when we come up into our downward dog I find a sense of calm and ease, amazaballs. Am loving this journey, I feel stronger, more aware of my body, calmer, and just go out into the world with a new found attitude of 'I can'. Thank you Adriene, blessings, love and just some really cool happy thoughts headed your way.

  7. Hi Adriene,

Just wanted to say how much I appreciate your 30 days of yoga. I have never stuck at anything and have let my yoga practice go over the years but a few months ago I found your videos and have not looked back. This 30day course is just beautiful. My best friend and I live in different parts of the country but we are following it togther and haven't skipped a day yet - even when the kids are driving us mad! I have especially loved the last two practices and I really want to thank you so much for your time and generosity. Namaste! Lucy

  8. Another great practice! I love how you spoke about the heels in downwards dog as it's something that's been bothering me, but my heels are getting closer.

I'm also finding it so much easier to do the vinyasa going down to plank, then chaturanga and then into upwards dog without having to put my knees down, I couldn't do this at all when I first started this challenge but it's getting more natural every day!

    Looking forward to tomorrow,
    Corinne x

  9. Good follow up from yesterday's video. A challenge but too much for my old and sore body.

The 30 day journey has become like reading a great novel. You love reading the story but are waiting to find out what happens at the end.

    Still having fun.

  10. I commented earlier and it has not come up as a post. This is a test to see if this one posts.

I had said that I want you to do a 365 Days of Yoga.

Thank you for all of this and more! My body requires me to modify some moves and skip a couple of others for now, but I am inching to healing this body.

  11. I didn't move as smoothly as I'd like today because my muscles are sore, but it was a really good practice. I really like the breathing exercise from yesterday and today.

  12. Hello and thank you so munch for sharing your time and your knowledge with me and all of us here. I'm abit behind in the practise but thats allright as I can do as many as time allows. Many greetings from the north (Norway, Oslo)
    Namaste <3

  13. Greetings from the St Andrews hills, just North of Melbourne, Australia!
Adriene, thank you so much for your generosity, kindness, humour and guidance. I am almost 53 and had almost lost touch with the miracle of my body, just as it is. I look forward to these sessions every day (even though I am a little behind - missed a few days here and there). I feel better. I have less pain in my body. I breathe deeper. I am even more open to joy. And i really look forward to meeting you, sunshine woman, on the mat, even though oceans and continents lie between us.
    Blessings to you, sweet one.

  14. Great practice today, I am so enjoying each and every day. Thank you again for putting this together. Namaste

  15. DAY 20: Heart Practice! Yesterday I was speaking to my Mom who turned 82 in January and who suffered an acute stroke two days later. My Father is 88 and has dementia and in need of daily care. I shared with her my 30 day challenge and how great it would be for her to simply do a touch of this practice, the breathing and mild stretches to reconnect with her self and her heart and what brings her joy, as these days finding joy & happiness in her life has been challenging with caring for my aging Father. Thank you Adriene for your whimsical, fun and of course safe and modified practice for all those participating. I'm really taking it to heart and know I will succeed in my 30-day challenge and prepare for my upcoming trip (conference) in a great state of mind and body! Cheerz to YOU!!!! <3

    1. I actually look forward to waking up each and every morning to Yoga with Adriene! Thank you from the ground up. I would not of made this wonderful journey without you. Thank you for helping me, my family and so many others.
Yoga, the gift that keeps giving and never lets you down:-)!
      Thanks again Adriene!

May I ask where I can purchase the Amazing Elephant shirt, you are wearing?

  16. Hi Adriene,
I want to show some love and let you know that I have been doing your classes for about 3 months and you have helped me understand and appreciate yoga and all the goodness that is possible within this practice. Thank you so much!

  17. I have some problems with my right ankle and knee today, but I didn´t want to miss yoga cause I always feel so much better after it. So, I did all the moves and took breaks where I needed them. In the past before starting 30 days of yoga, I often didn´t listen to my body and had a workout even if I had pain somewhere in my body.
With doing yoga with you, I learn to listen more to my body! Thank you! ♥

  18. Adriene I just wanted to say how much I truly enjoy these mornings with you. It's like doing yoga with my best friend every day (-; You have such a beautiful, loving and playful character, you are just a joy. I am not only trying to commit to daily morning (and sometimes nights too!) practices, but also to soak up the positive energy you bring to each video and let it carry me through the day. Thank you <3

  19. Thank you for this one! I really needed this now. ..
this is truly a healing process for me.
    Thank you,
    Adriene!

  20. After so many years, I feel like I am finally getting it! My breath is more coordinated, I am able to correct my postures, and I am finally taking up space. Thank you! I've entered a whole new level in my yoga practice.

  21. THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! You have changed the way I begin my entire day. I love your joy for life and your steady calm. Thank you for doing all of this for so many people. Cheers from Colorado!!

  22. Thank you so much you make me happy .I too vote for 365 days . I can't imagin my day without you having my back.

  23. This was exactly what I needed today Adriene. Thank you. And this is my second round through this course.

  24. You have been totally reading my mind. I seriously cannot put my heels down when doing Downward Dog Pose. Hopefully in time I can. Thank you, thank you Adriene. Loved it today.

  25. Thanks again Adrienne for all your yoga inspiration and mind blowing yoga videos!!
I have been doing yoga with you and everyone else from around the world for five months now loving every sequence and me time on the mat down under (Western Australia)!!!
Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!

  26. I am on day 20 of the 30 day challenge. Thank you for sharing your practice with me. My body just sings during the practice. I have pain in the morning in my feet and back and this practice makes everything feel better and allows me to get thru my day. I also love your humor. You are so knowledge and so fun to listen to. Can't wait to do the next 10 days!

  27. Wow, feeling super blissed out after this practice! Filing this one away for days when I need a little stress relief (aka every Sunday night/Monday morning). That arm vinyasa is yummy & magical! Yummy magic? Sure! Thank you for sharing your spirit and gifts with us! Loving these 30 days!

  28. Loved this open hearted arms out to the side practice today! I turn 60 this year and have had a consistent practice for the past year. I have named it 'my way forward.' Thanks for being part of it!

  29. Hello! I'm loving your videos, and have seen so much improvement in my practice since beginning this challenge. Today you talked about difficulty getting heels to the mat in downward dog, which is something I struggle with. However I also find that I can't comfortable ground my left or right heel in downward dog, moving to lift either leg, and have to remain lifted in my "grounding" leg. Is there something I'm doing wrong? Do I just need to build endurance? Thank you so much for your help!

  30. It's funny how you can love the soul of somebody you've never met. You do not know it all, but yet you think you do. And you pause because you are in awe of what you've met.

I feel like you're a friend and you've never met me. Such an awkward yet enjoyable place to be. Oh, and I finally learned the definition of namaste yesterday when a "real" friend and I were talking. Thank you Adriene for the gift of your presence in my life!

  31. Hi Adriene! I started the new year with your 30 days of yoga. I have hopes of deepening my practice and learning more arm balances/ inversions this year and maybe I will even go to YTT. Yesterday I completed day 20. I am having some soreness along my upper spine, between my shoulder blades. Also, I am feeling tight in my right hamstring.I had a massage on Monday and the masseuse said that I had a muscle spasm. I am wondering if these two sorenesses may be related to the increased forward folds with flat backs. When I am doing flat back I pull my shoulder blades towards one another while abs are pulled in and neck long looking forward. I was just hoping for your feedback as I don't want to not finish this challenge but maybe there is something else I could be doing. Namaste'!

  32. Hi,
I'm so happy & proud i'm already at day 20, WoW, i started with no expectations.
I followed several classes years ago and always loved it very much but due to all that happened in my life i forgot about yoga...
And now i'm at day 20, YaY.
But i'm suffering and finally recovering from a frozen shoulder and i have a question : how can i replace downward dog in my practise, my left shoulder can still not move as it should and does not touch the ground?
    Namasté from Belgium.
    Bien
