Yoga to Gain Perspective

This 35 min mindful yoga practice will assist you in creating a rhythm of balance and ease. Practice yoga asana, awareness and conscious breathing to bring energy to the body and peace of presence to your mind.

Yoga to Gain Perspective is designed to remove any irritability or stress caused by change or by outside circumstances. It will also bring a gentle decompression to the spine and neck, as well as invite more mobility in the shoulders and hips.

Use this practice to remove stress, open your mind, and anchor in your center so that you can be kind and serve others.

  1. Been doing yoga with you for 2years now as recommended by my physio after a slipped disc. I practice daily, was difficult at first due to pain but I can honestly say doing yoga with Adrienne has changed my life. I have no pain now In my back, also have had severe arthritis in my neck for over 30yrs but found a video for neck and shoulders and now I have no pain at all.I also could not bend my knee due to an injury but now I can bend it. Truly amazing Honestly I feel like a new person I'm calmer more positive more energy and this practice today just reiterated that. It doesn't matter what age you are I'm nearly 63 you can do yoga and it will change you physically and mentally. I'm so more in tune with my body and listen to it daily.Thank you Adrienne for your wonderful videos and inspiration. See you on the mat.your amazing. Namaste

  5. Wow, OH, WOW! Beautiful practice and definitely what I needed. I have been dealing with a couple of personal issues that I feel uncomfortable speaking to someone about and this practice allowed me to slow down and flip my perspective (plus 2 cry sessions). I even pushed away my fear and tried tree legs in side plank! Yay, I am getting so STRONG!

  17. I am a beginner but would like to vary my daily routine. Which sessions / videos should I be logging on to? I did the free 30 day yoga routine last year and would like something varied like this again. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

  19. I have Had a Yoga practice for 50 yrs. For the last 3 mos. I have not been able to practice. I am recovering from an illness and am now ready to return to my Yoga. Today was the first time I have tried. This practice was a first step! I loved every part. Thank you for letting me be a part of your day

    Could you make a yoga series or session for people with limited range of motion in the knees and ankles? Something to help increase ROM? Or a session where you teach how to do variations when you have limited ROM. I would love it as I have a problem with my left knee and I usually just skip a few poses because I can’t do them, but definitely need the stretch!

    I am grateful to you for allowing us to spend time with you each day. I love your zany sense of humor, that makes me smile throughout the day. Following along has been rough with such a small space, and balancing time in between family visits that are unexpected. I am working on moving myself to a room upstairs that has plenty of room with no fear that someone will just pop in interrupting my focus. You are truly a blessing. I am getting stronger than I have ever been, and like you always say a little does go a long way. Thank you for taking time to teach us, you are definitely an inspiration.

  27. I can't believe you Adriene. You always synchronize with my life. My best friend was in a life threatening car accident last week and the moment really changed my perspective completely. So much to the point where I was writing a song and painting about perspective... THEN you release this video! time to gain this new perspective of mine.     Just want to thank you so very much for sharing your time, energy and perspective with us This yoga journey has been at times challenging,(especially in the beginning as an older guy), invigorating as I found myself gaining flexibility and strength and perspective myself as I've pulled the centeredness and calm I've experienced in yoga into the rest of my life. Mom had to bring my puppy in from outside cause he was barking at the UPS man She left to do some errands and with my stepdad sick in bed my puppy perched himself at the end of my mat Throughout the entire practice he never moved except to lie down across the end of my mat but that was it When Adriene said if headstand was in our practice we could do so I went from feeling panicked to seeing my puppy smiling like he was laughing at me I feel I own a puppy with a sense of humor Great practice though and I got to do things that I felt was pushing me in the way I need I was told by my yoga instructor that- that’s what I need to keep challenging myself so thank u for this practice I greatly appreciate you and all that you’ve done to help me Namaste

  40. I chose this practice today feeling chaotic inside & out due to big changes going on in my life, my family, my kids lives. Everywhere I look, chaos. Thank you for the reminder to be grateful & to look around at the good. Perspective is everything. The practice was wonderful & my plan is to continue to purposefully choose a different perspective today. I'm better now than pre-practice, as always.
