Yoga for Change and Drain

  7. Somehow you always know what I need. I came to the mat feeling very sore after a fall climbing yesterday, not sure how I would do. But the moves, and the pace today was exactly what I needed. Some very sore tight muscles feel much looser now. Thanks so much. P.s Benji was so cute today

Now that was lovely after shoveling four hours yesterday i needed this and change is GOOD, i'm much more in balance when we spring forward not in the fall when we step back a hour is that just me or is that a little weird, Thanks for todays session and yes the pitter patter of the feet at the end did wake the house up a little.   18. Thank you Adriene for all of your awesome practices. The universe knows exactly what you need when need it. I was able to show up on the mat fully after a scary incident that happened with my son, a visit to the emergency room as well as a losing an hour to daylight savings time. I love to see your happy face and my cat loves Benji. When I say " Time for Benji" my cat knows that it is time for yoga. This entire experience since starting yoga with you in January has been life changing for me. I joined the FWFG community and love everything about it. Thank you...

  22. Thought I’d check in on my favourite online yogi ‍♀️ this morning. Started to view this practice while sitting in a chair with my feet up, next thing I know, I’m on the floor of my living room following along. Very sneaky Adriene.

  23. This video was fun! THANK YOU! I laughed several times, because I just love your humor. It helps get me through some of the tougher poses.

    Although sneaky, I really appreciated the approach to the plank. I have lower back pain so sometimes the approach to sphinx or forearm plank can aggravate that.
    But setting it up like you did, seemed to help. (Also hilarious.. you tricked me!)

    I feel a little pep in my step!

  26. I have had a migraine for 2 days and this was just what I needed to get my perspective back and feel energised again.

  27. Returned last night to Brooklyn from Hawaii and with a 5 hour time difference (plus the spring ahead hour) this session was exactly what I needed today-- including the giggles Benji provided at the end : ) Thank you, Adriene!

  29. I am 60 and have joint pain with injuries to my left foot 8 months ago, my right knee 2 months ago and now hip pain which will be x-rayed. I work as a carer, I am 60 and although I have been doing yoga for years,and walking I am in pain at the moment. I have never been flexible in my hips and never could really do a tailor's cross-legged position when I am younger. I cannot cross my right leg at the moment. I really enjoy your sessions but I think my body is not as flexible as it needs to be to follow along. I listen to my body but have obviously overdone things with work, daily yoga etc. I think I need a gentler practice.

  31. Again, thanks. We visited Austin recently, but sadly I was unable to time it so I could join one of your sessions in person. First visit to Austin, not the last. Construction reminded me much of home (Chicago Loop)! Great food, wine, music. And, as a result of our visit I "got" your recent Townes Van Zandt reference!

And i visited grandma on the hospital and then my mum home alone, well with a cat. I showed her some yoga poses actually. Well I suposse l have been quite busy passing it all on already!   51. I've been neglecting my mat for the past two weeks but today I finally got myself out of bed and onto the floor. I can't help but smile when certain videos feel like they were made specifically for me, and during today’s practice I was all smiles.

    Yoga with Adriene is my church and I'm very thankful for the discoveries I've made about myself because of her guidance and goofy song lyrics 🙂 She serves as a reminder that this world IS good and we should all enjoy life with every breath!

  52. This was the first yoga in a few weeks for me. I fell off the wagon. But at the then there, slapping my feet, I had one of those moments when I saw how I found just what I needed today. Earlier in the week I had a reoccurrence of an autoimmune issues and the sensation in my feet and right leg have gone all wonky. Sending the energy up my legs and waking up my feet was the perfect way to end. Just loving on the syncronicity
