YouTube Comments Problems

Hey everyone! I wanted to record a quick vlog and apologize for some of the comments I haven't been able to answer directly. Since the new YouTube comments system, I can't reply to some of your YouTube comments ... and I want to! Check the video for more details and if you have a question or comment, please visit leave it in the comments section below and I will answer it as quickly as possible.

  1. I'm still following you on Youtube and have subscribed here but Google is messing with my Zen.
    I refuse to agree with their forced G+ and of course that means I can't comment on Youtube and they deleted my channel there. You're the best, please continue.

  2. Hello! My name is Rebekah and I found one of your yoga videos on you-tube and I liked your style and how easy you made it for me (beginner in the yoga world) to do yoga, enjoy yoga, and tone & firm up my postpartum body!
    Yes, I am a mommy! I had my baby at the beginning of this year in February (wowzers...my baby is going to be a year soon) and about in September or so, I was getting serious about losing that last bit of baby fat (because my lovely daughter had finally gotten into a schedule -- woots) and I had heard good things about yoga.
    I then proceeded to "you-tube": "Yoga for weight loss" since this was my goal. Then poof your video appeared.
    Every since then (I know 3 months), I have been watching your videos, practicing yoga, and doing the foundations series since I am a beginner.
    I love your easy going style and "do what feels right" which makes me feel less intimidated to do Yoga (even trying to get the husband to join me).
    I can't wait to see what new things are coming with the website/newsletters/etc.!
    I would comment on You-tube but I don't want a Google Plus account.
    I have just this year gotten rid of all of my social media (facebook) and I don't want to go back!
    Anyway, just wanted to shout out support and say Hello!

I particularly feel that the free videos on YouTube or here on the site are GREAT for new moms (and dads) at home who maybe cannot make it to class on a regular basis or who want to start off nice and slow in a comfortable environment. So this is great feedback! I am so glad and I too look forward to the future of the channel - which I hope we can all build together! So keep in touch!!! 😉

  3. I am a subscriber on Youtube and I am thankful for your videos. I find them very useful and really well made. The website is also nice being easy to navigate and aesthetically pleasing. I am glad that lots of good things are happening to you and I wish you the very best.

      1. Oh, that's strange. I wrote it but it disappeared. Take two! The request: can you add yoga sequences or foundations videos with more standing balance poses? I am finding that my balance has worsened with age and, although I know some poses, I prefer guided practice.

  5. both a fan and a friend! i have been loving your videos for some time and have been frustrated with not being able to leave a comment... ahh, google:) the yoga for ladies video you just put up is exactly what i wanted... i also love the hour long fat burning work out. i'm sure it takes a lot to make a long video like that but that's my favorite. thanks for all you do and give! big love!

  6. (I put this up at Youtube, but as they seem to be problematic, I'm also putting it here.) I just discovered your Youtube channel about three weeks ago and your website this morning. I have to say, I've never been a big fan of yoga, but you make it informative, relaxed, and fun. The style of your videos is more like working out with a cool friend who knows yoga as opposed to an instructional video. On Friday I even found myself looking forward to doing my yoga, so thank you for all these wonderful videos and for making them not only instructional, but just plan fun.

    I also wanted to say that last night my ten year old daughter and I did the bedtime sequence and now she's decided she's a fan and wants to do more. So, great job and thank you for doing all this. (And for free too!)

  7. Hi Adriene! I just started doing yoga and I have been following you your YouTube channel. I really like it! I am wondering if I could make a request. Forgive me if you already have this on your site, but I'm hoping to get like 3-5 moves that I can do at work next to my desk to help energize me once the afternoon blues kicks in. Any suggestions?

  9. Hey Adriene. I've been practicing yoga for two months now (I first on my own but after a week into it I started watching and following your videos because you made yoga fun and relaxing) well any who I've noticed that since I became more flexible my ancles (the back) developed nasty black/purple bruises. They don't hurt but they make me feel ugly. How do I remove them without discontinuing yoga?

I heard you mention in one of the videos that you started off teaching yoga to children. I have had a look in your website for some videos for children and couldn't find any and wondered whether you would put up such videos. Thank you, Aura

  12. Thanks for your amazing videos and attitude. I ask people at work to try your yoga videos with me over my lunch break because it has been such a positive addition to my daily routine I want others to experience it. At home my 7 year old daughter yogas with me and she loves Benji. If he is not in a video she asks where he is and is happy when he reappears. If he sits on you or does anything different like get up and walk around he gets major bonus points from her.

  13. A quick comment from a Yoga with Adriene addict..... A lot of times I'm looking for a hard vs easy session. Any change of ever providing a level of difficulty number associated with you videos to assist? Luv what you do!!!

  16. It's January 6, 2021, and I was getting a stressed out by the news of what is happening at the Capitol. My remedy? Day 5 of the new Breath 30 day series. I usually do my yoga after dinner, but I could hardly wait to get on the mat. Thank you Adriene for being a grounding presence.

  17. Hello Adriene - I finally started following you during the pandemic (after a long time of listening to a friend who had been raving about how great your videos are). My question is: for poses that involve wrapping arms around to reach shoulders, I feel very constricted around my neck. Any suggestions or video recommendations? Thank you so much.

    Not from the bottom of my heart but from my soul, I have no words to thank you for giving me physical and mental energy to carry on and change my life completely for a better and fruitful life to enjoy and be grateful for every breathe I take.
    I have just been in hospital with almost 2 months of antibiotics and steroids to get rid of a bacteria in my blood that attacked my kidneys, liver and chest making it very difficult to breathe as my linings became inflamed with first the bacteria then the medication.
    After all the sleeping and resting with all the medication, I couldn’t do any exercise or even take a few steps BUT with your yoga and I found a session to fit the way I was feeling each day……..today I am better doing at least an hour of your yoga every day.
