Here is a little video I took on my surgery day before I went in. It has been a major struggle and oh so emotional so I wanted to set intentions to let go of the difficulties and make my surgery day great. I also thought I should get this voice on record. Note- I had to bump up the volume just so you could hear me!
All ended up going well. I am currently on vocal rest with many sweet friends checking in on me daily. Its been rough but man, I am a lucky lucky gal. The silence has definitely given light to the inner journey and my quest for center. I highly recommend you take one day each month to just be silent. There is so much there. So much.
Hi Adriene,
I stumbled upon your videos one day while looking for a at-home guided yoga practice and found your youtube page. I so enjoy your videos, thank you.
I then happen to be searching "yoga for reflux" and poof, there it was. You had a video for that! I was so happy to find that there could be such a thing that could possibly help. You mention in the video that you lost your voice and had some other "stomach troubles". I am currently in what feels like a battle, dealing with gerd/silent reflux. I have days where I feel like I lose my voice. I seem to be getting progressively worse. I don't know if you had a similar situation. I was trying to find more information on your site but haven't been able to. If you have time to respond, I would love to hear your story. I am currently feeling hopeless and helpless. I don't know how to help myself and am grasping for anything that may help.
Thank you again for your wonderful videos and blog, you are an inspiration.

Dear Adriene and Laura,
I was wondering the same thing. Can appreciate if you'd rather keep it to yourself, but if youre willing to share your journey you may be of great help to many of us out here.

I also would be very interested in hearing your story, having had vocal journeys of my own (which is actually what brought me to daily yoga practice, per my SLP's suggestion, and then finding you!).
