what's up everyone welcome to the yoga with Adriene vlog I'm Adriene that's Benji and we're off to Seattle Oh Seattle how I love yet how I love you I've been to Seattle a couple times and I just could not wait to go back didn't matter how I was feeling I was pumped about Seattle okay first of all the Pacific Northwest can I get a name in I mean I don't know about you where you're from where you up but obviously I'm a Texas girl and there is just nothing like your first experience of the Pacific Northwest I mean it's just so beautiful right I mean it's just subtle gorgeous and diverse you know it might not sound silly but when you come from a place like Texas you know it's it's a lot of the same and it's beautiful it's so gorgeous and and maybe that's not even true but for me and I just hadn't seen anything like this the Pacific Northwest I remember when I first went many moons ago and each time I go back I get to experience a different part so that's also really cool so you know I've been spend some time in a blizzard duty tacoma before i've spent some time in you know Olympia and Mount Rainier you know hikes and gorgeous stuff oh my god super paradise there but also in the city and so this time I was just great I was in the city I got to explore a little more and it was awesome so we were there right before Halloween and so it's this perfect beautiful autumnal neighborhood queen and all the leaves are absolutely gorgeous things are lush you know Halloween decorations really nice so of course as with any great travels you set out on foot and you find a place to eat you explore a little and so that was really nice the next day we had a whole day to explore so I packed my bag put on my coat and prepared for any type of weather chilly brisk rainy of course and set out for the market if you're not familiar with Pikes Place Market which you probably are but if you are not it's a magical place to be especially on the weekend when it's bustling it's one of the few places that I feel like I don't get bogged down by touristy stuff you know how sometimes you're like oh wherever the tourists flock you know you don't necessarily want to be there you want to go where the people go I'm really holding back the urge to sing Little Mermaid um anyway Pikes Place Market is awesome it's it's it is it is a touristy place it's a landmark come on but it's one that I love so of course we had to go and find the men flinging fish I just realized is that sexist no because there's no women flinging fish at that particular spot there are plenty of women who fling fish there are plenty of women working their butts off in the market one thing I love about the market which I was planning to say anyway is the diversity is so awesome from all the vendors would of course all the tourists you know there's so many different languages so many different types of food being made right in front of your eyes right in front of your eyes so it's really awesome you know the smells the sights the sounds it's so it's so it's so cool again it's one of my favorite places to go on a weekend busy touristy spot Pikes Place Market I got to see some cheese being made I've got to eat some great food sample some delicious little things shop the gifts and then if I'm being honest which I want to be I have to tell you I I kind of you know made my rounds and then and then was quickly off to the next thing because it's kind of the same thing every time you just kind of go to take in the ambiance support some of the vendors there's the magical flowers which I feel like is worth the trip alone and then you move on after the market I knew that we had to check out the water I wanted to take the ferry and so we took the ferry to Bainbridge Island I really wanted to just kind of walk around the island I had been before but it was a different time of year so it was nice to just kind of set out on foot and again explore you know you get great exercise the air there is so awesome and you know it's also a fun place it's one of the few I think fun places to be around Taurus and watch Taurus save for Disneyland you know you just have to like get into that more on that later so because it was Halloween time it was fun to be on the island and see you know people in costume and are preparing people going to holiday parties on the ferry I I posted on Instagram a picture you know someone getting getting their kids ready for a Halloween costume party you know across on the island so that was fun it's just a really great day to walk around have oysters and you know experience a gorgeous Saturday in the Pacific Northwest after plenty of walking around in booths and good exercise and of course good food I finally made it home early to get prepared for the next day do a little legs at the wall and find a sense of peace and rest which I've learned super important on these trips the next day it was a classic Seattle day super rainy and gray but beautiful and we went to the studio and we're a little early and the Luminess is right next to a Whole Foods Market so I popped in there to get some flowers I tend to like to do this before every class some thing if I can in some way to bring to the space to you know offer it to the space and and and just you know make it beautiful so took my humble bouquet to the studio got acquainted with the folks at be luminous thank you so much humans for having us you are truly are truly awesome in so many ways in addition to meeting people in the community we get to branch out and meet people in Yoga communities and yoga studios that I would have never met otherwise and it's really cool and it's always such a pleasure to see kind of how they're set up what the vibe is you know and just can connect to the things that you connect to with them is it's really nice ultimately it's just the yogurt right the good vibes so this was our final stop I felt a little emotional as we were starting it was warm the aluminous actually has a a movable door wall excuse me in between their two yoga studios and they're beautiful where they can open it up and make the two Studios one so that's what they did for us we were at max capacity and we were thinking about adding another class and then they came to the rescue like just amazing just they must have felt with us trying to add more spots and said hey we can bust down the wall one two and we said yes so we did and that way we were able to accommodate a lot of people I think we had 70 people I think yeah in our last stop and again super diverse group of people really really smart Yogi's this this this group and and really vocal and awesome really vocal about how they had found the channel a lot of families on this one we had one whole family their mom and dad and the two gals and and they had great stories about how far they had taken yoga with Adriene too you know different countries with them and that was awesome and I got to see some people that I know from Austin and that was so nice and and man people travel pretty far some pretty far to join us in Seattle for this Roadshow so we had travelers people from different areas come to practice so I would be lying if even before we started apposite felt pretty special but this class felt reverent I don't know if it was who knows what it was right you can't try to penny about to say that it was it was such a reverent class it was a lot of fun and I only wish they were longer than 90 minutes you know I think next time we got to give ourselves more time can we I don't know lock in so we finished the class by meeting and greeting everyone and talking someone Celeste thank you I met her the day of she had come with a box a beautiful shoebox of cranes origami cranes and she said that she would like to offer them to everyone as a symbol of our oneness and so we decided we schemed - while everyone was in shavasana - put them in front of the mats and you know I'm gonna no I don't know about you guys but I just think that this community rocks like the fact that we're even thinking that and sometimes you have an idea to do something creative or something great and then you don't do it because the way our culture is in the way our society is and I'm guilty of this all the time - I'm trying to break free you don't do it because you're afraid that people are gonna think it's too much or too weird it's like what well you know know your limits people I don't want are you're responsible training grand acts of love no what come on it's awesome so thank you for that amazing generous kind thoughts and for making us the crane Celeste and thank you everyone for embracing the entire find what feels good roto experience with me and or learning with me and there's like a squirrel that's really trying to distract me launching it I'm trying to say thank you thank you from the bottom of my heart everyone even those who weren't able to make it out we're gonna be doing more travels in the new year I can't wait to share with you our ideas and our plans that are actually already in the works or visiting and connecting you in all areas that's it Ben do you have anything nope hmm thank you take good care let's keep practicing do good feel good
