Here is your Yoga With Adriene Free monthly Yoga calendar! No gimmicks, no catch. This is an offering to help you get on the mat regularly to cultivate balance and wellbeing. If you are intuiting that you might benefit from a regular and sustainable at home yoga practice – look no further.
If this is your first time joining us, welcome!
Each month, we come together as a community around a theme that inspires questions and guides intention for your practice both on and off the mat.
The practices selected support your exploration of the theme, whether you are taking on the whole month or dropping in for a single whenever you like.
The practices on the calendar are free and are all available on the Yoga With Adriene YouTube channel. When we include membership practices on the calendar, they are noted as FWFG practices and we also include alternate free YouTube practices on those days for those who are not members.
This month’s free offering is an invitation to GROUND.
November 2020 marks a special time, as this will be the 5 year anniversary of the YWA calendar.
5 years ago, community member, Sarah Bowman, compiled a playlist of foundation videos from the Yoga With Adriene channel, indicating the length of the video and creating a helpful structure in which to guide those who sought to get on the mat more regularly.
5 years later, Sarah is not only a dear friend of mine, but holds office as both Director Of Community, also known to many as our Kula mama, and she is also leading the FWFG Membership APP, a huge endeavor – especially this year as so many seek a safe, affordable, trustworthy, creative space to go deeper, find healing, and sweat it out.
But wait there is more! As community member, Elias Belsky, pointed out, November is special not only because of the 5 year anniversary but because it is also the first time when a calendar from the past fits the dates of the current month perfectly. November 2015 and November 2020 both start on Sunday.
So as an homage to the original Foundations Yoga Calendar and because we feel we all could use a bit of gentle daily grounding, this month, we celebrate with a new Root To Rise practice, and set our community intention to GROUND.
This year, there is no question that each month brings a new set of uncertainty and challenge. Allow this collection of practices to be the thing each day that serves to anchor you in your body and your breath so that you may continue to cultivate balance for optimal mental, emotional, and physical health.
It’s all free, no credit card required.
I’ll meet you there.
Invite someone to join you! Drop-in throughout the month or join us for the whole month.
Share your experiences with the Kula and the community with #ywaGROUND.
Be sure to subscribe to the Yoga With Adriene YouTube channel, if you haven’t already! This is the #1 way to support the YWA free calendar and the new free YouTube videos.

Lol, I just saw Yoga for Chefs – there better be food involved damnit! Don’t tease me with the prospects of cooking.
Thank you for all the hard work you have done this past 5 years for create all those monthly calendars. To you Sarah for your listening and kindness and to all the team of YWA and naturrely to Adrienne because without teacher there will not have yoga class. So happy 5 years to all of you and please continue, it is very helpful! Please excuse my english I’m a French speaker.
I am so happy to put this new calendar up on my refrigerator. It reminds me that there is a community out there, even though I spend most of my days at home with my dear husband. No social activities for us. We are together, dear Kula. We are strong, dear Kula. Thank you to all of you that make this world a more connected place through thoughtful yoga practice. Namaste
Five years ago, I found “Yoga for Hangovers” and Adriene Mishler. Today, in 2020, I will celebrate 4 years booze-free on Nov. 17th. Yoga with Adriene, supporting Adriene at events and printing off my monthly calendar has been monumentous in my recovery. I am sharing this calendar with all my friends and family and asking them to celebrate with me by also challenging themselves to the monthly Adriene calender in this time of remoteness so that I can always remember I am not alone and we are worth it, Kula! Big thank you Adriene…the way you can make me crack a smile during plank or shed a tear during corpse pose…it has saved my life many a time and I carry the light I learn from YWA…. in me …and I love & acknowledge the light in you! Namaste!
Congratulations on your recovery!
Thank you so much ❤️
A few girlfriends and I started out with Adriene’s Home 30-day challenge on May 1st. We hop on zoom every morning and have been following along daily with the monthly calendars ever since. This month’s theme and practices, in particular, hit home for me as I focus on grounding myself through the winter season and the rest of this calendar year. Thank you, Adriene and everyone at YWA, for helping me/us get through the tough times this year. It’s been a lifesaver!
Thank you for your motivation. I feel so much more inclined to show up everyday with your motivation and down to earth understanding of life. You truly are inspirational!
So pleased to be back on the mat with Day 1 of Ground. Thank you.
WoW!! I just ‘met’ you looking to start doing some yoga at 62 years of age. 🙂 I have FOUR heelers and I have absolutely fallen in love with you and Benjie!! Thanks for all your encouragement and hard work! I’m a new fan and subscriber! Namaste <3
Hi there !
From what I understand the ones from the website or app (meditations and without screens) are not free?
Thanks for that, I always feel so welcomed in your (virtual) yoga classes
That’s correct, Valerie. So for those days on the calendar, we have alternative free practices from the YWA YouTube channel listed as well for those who are not members of the FWFG App/site. 🙂
Thank you for continuing to put these calendars out each month. I’m following along this month and it’s been exactly what I need. I appreciate everyone involved (community, Adriene, the whole team behind YWA).
I’m a long time Adriene fan and I’m coming back around for daily practice, so I really appreciate the calendar. 2020 has been a tough year for fitness because I’m really into group fitness and with Covid that has not happened like I’m used to, so this will fit the bill for now. Thank you for continuing to publish these. I’m on board and happy to be back as a regular.
I wanted to let you know how a few friends and I have been doing this for the past three months – each in their own home – but connected by your calendar and your guidance – we have chosen to do this at a time of the day that is convenient to each. But on our group each one has to just check-in with a tick saying that they have done the particular yoga session for the day. Some days it is tough with the work-at-home, school-at-home, home-work at home, shop at home, cook at home, husband at home, children at home routine to get a few minutes to ourselves. But when we see others doing it in the group, we some how find the motivation to get it done. It has been incredibly helpful to meet the challenges of the last few months with these beautiful yoga sessions you have put together. So thank you very much from the bottom of my heart.
This is such an awesome resource. I’ve taken your classes on YouTube but this is a great way to stay updated on your classes and the intentionality behind it. Thanks!
Thank you Adriene for being who you are, truly a unique loving person able to share your love of yoga with the world while inspiring all the beautiful people to do the same. Most awesome! Namaste.
