April 2020 Yoga Calendar - NURTURE

Yoga With Adriene Free monthly Yoga calendar!

If this is your first time joining us for a community theme, welcome!

Each year, we come together as a community around a theme for the month. The practices selected support your exploration of the theme, whether you are taking on the whole month or dropping in throughout the month.

The practices on the calendar are free and are all available on the Yoga With Adriene YouTube channel. When we include membership practices on the calendar, they are noted as FWFG practices and we also include alternate free YouTube practices on those days for those who are not members.

The perfect antidote for those staying at home, this month our community theme is NURTURE. This month we consider what it means to nurture ourselves, each other, and Mama Earth. We will move our energy, care for our emotions, and set rituals with intention. There will be some gentle and restorative practices, and there will be some fiery and strengthening practice. This calendar is ultimately an invitation to ground and take some time to nurture ourselves so we can better serve the world around us. 

For April 6-12, you are invited to join us for YOGA RITUAL, a 7-day yoga and meditation series. This series is on the Find What Feels Good membership site at and on the Find What Feels Good app. When we do not take time to reset, the body can fall apart or begin to ache and your thoughts will begin to take control over you. Life can be a rollercoaster and being human can be tough! YOGA RITUAL is an invite to reset. Create time and space to re-establish patterns, or rituals, that serve!

If you are not a member, that’s okay too. For April 6-12, there are additional practices listed on the calendar those days that are on the free Yoga With Adriene YouTube channel.

We also offer Yoga Ritual as a downloadable course that can be bought and is yours to keep forever and can be downloaded to play offline. You can learn more about that here.

I’ve been interested in yoga for quite a few years now but never found the time to begin practicing, about 2.5 weeks ago I decided it was time to put my insecurities and doubts aside and just go for it. Your channel was the first I came across, and I am so grateful for that. In such a short period of time it feels as if you have helped me tremendously, opened up something inside of me that I didn’t know I had. I can’t thank you enough. This is the beginning of a new chapter for me, and I’m glad that you’re there to guide me!

    You have been a solid "friend" for me this past year. I was losing myself to alcohol after my best friend killed herself 2 summers ago. Suddenly, but slowly, I found you, I heard you, and I looked to you daily.....and your inspiration carved its way in deep.

    I cannot thank you enough for bringing me back to my Self....back HOME.....that one really brought it all together.

    As a mother, administrator and educator I have so many people approaching me for guidance and at times, I have nothing to offer. Then I direct them to you and explain about the quietness and looking inside. About making routines and sticking to them.

    I am back after weeks of dealing with so much. Now, I have to speak to myself to be still, be quiet, look inside, and find the time to receive the energy from within.

  9. I have IBS and can sometimes get trapped gas in back and other areas. I’m also a bit stressed right now, given what our country is going through with the coronavirus. Can yoga help with the bloating/gas and stress?

    1. Shelly, Adriene is teaching on Practice Yoga Austin's Instagram page Live on Friday, not on their usual Zoom platform. That's why you aren't seeing it on their schedule.

  12. Hi...I used to practice yoga at the gym, during covid19 pandemic all the gym are all close so I found your video on the YouTube channel. I did your 30 days yoga at home platform (HOME and DEDICATE) during WFH and now on my 14th day of TRUE. I really enjoy my yoga practice at home because it more relaxing (you don't need to drive to the gym and struggling with the traffic and finding space at the parking lot and you can put on any comfortable outfit to do the practice as well as you can allocate time for yourself without have to worry on the class schedule). I do recommend this platform to my friends as the most "yogini friendly' platform. Thank you, Adrienne! Namaste!

  13. I would sincerely like to thank you for your lessons and kindness. Practising yoga has changed my life as I was suffering from Rhuemathoid Arthritis which effected my weight and mental health. Through Yoga my fitness has improved I have lost weight and my flexibly has returned.
