  3. Yes! I never liked yoga until now because of you. I have bars in my back and well, lots of poses are challenging. I love that you focus more on how we feel as apposed to doing the pose correctly. You have changed me I feel so much better and I am grateful.   6. Dear Adriene, just want to say a huge thank you for making your yoga videos available so easily and free for us all! They are wonderful and every Sunday I get motivated and inspired to get on that mat and try the video. I usually do some yoga every morning - I've used the Sun Salutations with a bit of extra here and there for years. The Sun Salutations is a great sequence to go deeper and deeper into when it feels right - it has taught me so much about my body and heart over the years.
    Your video has come at just the right time for me to extend my knowledge and it's great to see exactly in the videos how something is done so not to injure myself.
    I'm looking forward to the new letter and video each Sunday so thank you again!

  8. Hi Adriene, This practice looks great. I have just been diagnosed with severe hip Bursitis and the muscles in my hips and back are so tight because of it. I am wondering whether this yoga practice is OK to do with a hip bursitis?

    I used to live in Austin but regret that I have never been to your classes. In fact I started yoga in 2008 while living there and have loved practising ever since.

    When I stumbled upon your videos after moving to Hannover, Germany, I was thrilled. Especially, since you are from one of my very favourite cities. And I am so glad that because of the affiliation to Austin my interest was piqued. Today, I love following you and your videos and am truly encouraged by your enthusiasm.

    I am on round 12 of radiotherapy after chemo for breast cancer and am somewhat limited on the updogs and just added down dogs to my practice, planking is yet still a dream. Enjoyed this as it stretched out some of my sore spots from radiation,,,You continue to amaze me..

    Love your practice on hips and back. I have less mobioity in my right hip but have been trying to mm my movement in hopes one day I will have better mobility. I want you to know that I have improved greatly from Nov when I started. You have been a God sent. Thank you. I will join as soon as I am able to keep up!

  20. Adriene, I want to thank you for all you do. Somehow I was connected with your 30 days of Yoga in January and by doing that I’ve reesablished my at home practice. It feels so good. You make me laugh! My girls are your age and they just went to see Bone Thugs this fall, so when you sing..❤️❤️❤️! Benji is the best! I’m always shoving mine off the mat. Or trying to get away from dog kisses during bridge pose. Don’t know why they choose that! Anyway thank you!

Just moved to Monterey, Ca (temporarily for work) where some leave their hometown to vacation and enjoy Aquarium and beautiful nature where negativity has no meaning and appreciation to great health always exists. All irrelevant matters stay behind and rejuvenation of nature becomes a competition here. I am away from home but guess what now, following this video about 500 miles away makes it feel home with Adriene and Hafiz notations. I almost forgot what i felt physically as my mind started picking up a beautiful Sunday experience. Two opposite matters such as light and dark, makes this world as they do not exist on their own. Intuition regarding physical health instills mind health and wallah, humanity again starts. I wish I could leave pics of this nature to remind the dawn and dusk and sunshine and sunset where everything for all start.

  26. Adriene you are a legend as always, i am currently working through your 30 days of yoga videos, nice to go back to basics especially as getting over a flare up of an old back injury at present.
    Hip openers also eally work wonders for my back pain!
    Just a suggestion, I work night shifts and have this all consuming body ache afterwards that I find hard to work through, any chance of a video tailored towards us night owls?

    Congratulations on your new position. I’ve been sporadically practicing yoga with you for years, but the 30 day yoga challenge (which took me about 45 days to get through) has changed my mind and body and has allowed me to cultivate the self love, discipline and skills required to go further in this home yoga practice and be a better teacher myself (art...elementary). Thank you so much for continuing to guide and facilitate this journey of love of self and others. You are an incredibly talented teacher and an inspiration.

    Though I often become distracted with life and have not been making yoga a
    daily routine for the past few years, I find that regardless of the many other Yogi's on YouTube that I try, I always come back to you. YOU have a realness and sincere vibe and as of yesterday...you have fully become my favorite.
    My first introduction to yoga was with a few DVDs of Rodney Yee's given to me as a gift 10 years ago. 3 years ago I had my first Yoga with Adriene session (this was after being away from yoga for many years in between) and yesterday I purchased a new gaiam mat and decided to check out their videos. I did several of the Rodney Yee videos and though he is an Icon...YOU are by far, a much more thorough instructor in the ways you are describing the movements and making sure we are "Breathing" thru them and not holding our breath, which is something that I need reminding of. SO...the moral of this long story that you will probably never read...YOU are a blessing to so many people and are IMO the best Yogi around and I am grateful for your videos and the chillax vibe and that Benji is a part of the lessons often. Keep doing what you are doing, the world needs more people like you!
